just got back from 4 nights tinsel and turkey break with Ogdens Coach Holidays and had a great holiday, hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas on arrival.

Every night excellent entertainment and we were surprised when every evening they brought round a glass of sherry with a welsh cake or mince pie and new years eve was champagne.

We had a free bar from 6 - 11 PM, free packed lunch every day and the food at night was excellent accompanied by crackers and party hats, served by very friendly staff who on Christmas night encouraged us to sing christmas songs, New Years eve was a 5 course gala dinner. Reception, bar staff were excellent and even night security joined in the fun.

We all had such a great time the whole coach wants to repeat the trip next year if David Ogden will oblige please.

I don't know how you do it for the price Mr Thomas but thank you.

Room Tip: We had a very small room on this occasion (106) not really suitable for a couple but we had stayed p...

Lovely Hotel...

Rooms clean.. Comfy beds.. Perfect location.. Food was nice..Definately worth the extra £10..

Hotel is dated, however so is every other Hotel in tenby.. if you want modern.. you better off getting one of those static caravans close by..

Staff very friendly.. i think i know which receptionist every one is on about.. but she really wasnt that bad... she cheered up by the evening..

would def go again.. but prob go camping for the full on tenby experience as i remember when i was a child..

Room Tip: There are a lot of stairs and only one lift so those with disabilities ask for 1-3 as the lift doesn...

We stayed at this hotel in September as visitors from Australia. We agree that the reception was very poor, except for a nice young man who showed us to our room and was very helpful. The room was a sea view on the second floor with lovely sloping floors. It was very clean but very hot........ For the price we paid we had previously stayed in far superior places. We enjoyed Tenby very much. The breakfast and dinners were very average, but the waiting staff were very friendly which almost made up for the rudeness of the female reception staff. (Our room was not serviced for two of the three days we stayed there.)

Basic hotel that needs major refurbishment. After reading the previous reviews we agree with most of them, can't understand those who gave 5 stars, are they sure it was the Belgrave hotel they stayed in?
The hotel seems to have a problem with smoking in the bedrooms, though there is a non smoking policy in all bedrooms, we had to endure the smell of smoke coming from the next room on several occasions, speaking to other guests about this they also had the same experience, we complained to the management and they said they would look into the problem, though there did not seem to much enthusiasm.
The bedroom we had suffered from noisy neighbours at 1am because of thin walls, it seemed that they were in the same room as ourselves, it is as well it was the last two nights of our eight night stay.
Regarding the meals, we could not fault them also service and cleaniness was very good, as was the entertainment everynight
Otherwise the situation of the Hotel was ideal and the town was first class.

Room Tip: Good views of sea, but not in all rooms

What a friendly Hotel! Nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere was clean, meals all good and lovely staff throughout hotel. Welcome to stay in public rooms when weather not good.
Beautiful position in this hidden gem called Tenby.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view room. Doesn't matter which floor as lift available.

On arrival we were 'met' by the grumpiest receptionist i have ever encountered. It was a struggle for her to say the most basic common courtesies such as 'please and thank you'. The rooms themselves were dated and in dire need of refurbishments but we could not fault the cleanliness. The shower was not the best but did do the job. My greatest complaint was regarding the breakfast. Described as a Welsh Breakfast what actually arrived on the plate made me embarrassed to say I am Welsh. 1 Bacon, 1 Sausage, An Egg (cooked to your request), Fried Bread and Beans (or tomatoes). The sausage was the smallest I have seen outside a pack of cocktail sausages and the fried egg I ordered looked and tasted like it had been made the week before. Disappointed is an understatement.. Other than the breakfast and the Mona Lisa receptionist the staff were extremely polite and helpful and a credit to the hotel. However, having spent the last couple of months looking to the trip with friends of ours the weekend was spoiled for us.

The hotel was a bit dated and needs some T.L.C. Our sea view room was from the top of the hotel and was mared by a wall. But we did have the 'sea view' so couldn't really complain. The parking was the biggest problem as it was for all the sea front hotels.
