It's a bit grand to call this a hotel it is really a B&B. it is clean and the proprietors and staff are welcoming. The decor is dated and there are a number of twee touches such as small decorative objects with running water in the reception and breakfast room.

The room was comfortable and clean although the duvets were rather heavy for June.

There is an underlying feeling of discomfort that is a result of several notices around the room eg. telling guests to use the trays provided when placing items on the dressing table. They also request that you tell them what you want for breakfast before you go to bed.

The breakfast itself was a big disappointment the cooked breakfast was the same quality as you would get from a motorway service station the sausage in particular was very bad the meat content must have been very low.

We also felt that 9am was rather early to end breakfast on a Sunday

Overall we felt that everything was organised for the hotels convenience and not the guests.

At £65 for the night we felt it was OK for a one night stay but would find it warning to stay longer.

Stayed here for a weekend in June and have to say what a lovely hotel run by lovely people. I have stayed in many places in tenby and have to say this is by far the best. First the hotel was very clean and nothing was to much trouble for them. The rooms were also very clean and I was surprised at how well equipped they were. Had a large very comfy double bed and it truly was a home away from home. The breakfast in the morning is absolutely fabulous you can have as much as you like and you really are spoilt for choice. The cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection and very tasty :)!! By far the best hotel in tenby with a warm friendly atmosphere and we will be returning in July and every year after that. GREAT!!!!

Stayed here overnight in early June 2013. Was made to feel very welcome on arrival. Hotel and room very neat and clean, styling a bit dated but acceptable. Breakfast was lovli, lots of selection and high standard of food. I would defo return to this hotel, we really enjoyed, many thanks.

We have stayed here many times but never got round to posting a review. We decided it was time to share our excellent experiences with others. The accommodation is spotless and Pam and Brian take great pains to ensure your stay is a real pleasure. Breakfast is prepared to order with lots of choice - fruits, yoghurt, porridge, cereals, veggie and continental alternatives. There is a large comfortable lounge with views of Caldey Island and, for the little ones, a well equipped playroom and lots of little extras. Complementary refreshments are available on request alongside the usual tea/coffee making facilities in each room.
Pam and Brian's hospitality make The Southcliff a real home-from-home.

Me and my fiancée stayed here over the may bank holiday weekend with our 21 month old daughter, and were so glad we did! We had everything we could need and more for Our daughter and nothing was a problem, all the little details such as teddies and books in the rooms for little ones was great, will definitely be back!!
