We stayed 2 nights in a family room in Myrtle House Hotel after reading Trip Advisor reviews. It was everything and more....
We drive a large pickup and on our arrival Jan came out to show us where to park safely followed up with tea and coffee.
Our room was spotless and everything we needed. The breakfast was brilliant (thanks Rob!) and Jan was so kind and patient when it came to listening to our little one even when ear plugs are a good idea!
The B&B is placed within 2 minutes walk of shops, restaurants, beach and the homely atmosphere makes the stay so relaxing. We couldnt have asked for more and will look forward to returning.

From the first moment we met Jan she was so welcoming and helpful. She suggested restaurants we should try, helped with a car space and generally gave us a rundown of what was on in Tenby and surroundings. We had a small room but it was fine and was the only one available for our three night stay. It was spotless. Breakfast was FANTASTIC.We have stayed in far bigger hotels (and much more expensive ) but they could not match the full breakfast. It is obvious Jan and her husband take a real pride in their lovely hotel and go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one.

We were greeted by Jan upon arival, who showed us where to park and then made us a cup of tea!

Our stay was during the heatwave, so it would have been difficult to sleep well anywhere without air conditioning!

Breakfast was splendid all you could ask for - that set us up for each days activities that we had planned!

Myrtle House is in an ideal location close to the beach and the town

To sum up - Clean, friendly and homely - Will definately visit again when we are next in Tenby!

Room Tip: If you can I would reccomend one of the rooms with a sea view!

Myself, hubby and 13 month old son stayed at this b and b for one night. The owners could not have done enough for us, they even put a fridge in our room for our sobs bottles. The rooms are spacious even with a travelcot and very clean. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and they had a lot on offer. There's a lounge downstairs which was useful to store our pram. The seaside is 2 min walk and bars, restaurants shops very close by. If we visited Tenby again we would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week here at short notice during June. On arrival we were greeted by Jan a lovely host with nothing too much trouble. the parking in Tenby is difficult for almost all hotels, Once unloaded Jan took me to find and we did a good and close and safe place to leave the car. She also made us a nice cup of tea to help settle us on our arrival.
The room we had was on the second floor and was a little small for a week, that said we had only booked the week before so had to take what was available. The room was very clean and well looked after with views to the side of the sea.
Breakfasts were of a good quality and plenty of it, there was a choice of fruit and cereal to start then the varying configurations of a cooked breakfast. again the service and quality by Rob and Jan was very good.
The location just inside the old wall means its only a short walk to all the town the beach, places to eat etc

We would certainly stay here again but would ask to stay in rooms 7 or 8 as they look to be large and have better views

Room Tip: Rooms 7 & * look to be the best so suggest you request them if possible

We were a party of four and stayed at the Myrtle House Hotel for two nights, the 27th and 28th of June.
Booked the hotel early in the day before we left to make sure we had the rooms.
Read the reviews on Tripadvisor first.
We were not disappointed.
Jan and Rob were great, nothing was too much trouble.
Tea and Welsh cakes on arrival, Jan even helped unload the car and carry a few of the cases inside.
Rob jumped in the car with me and took me around the corner to show me the parking about three minutes away.
Close to everything, town, beach, harbour.
Rooms clean, tidy and tea and coffe facilities, an amazing breakfast.
We will be back.
Best restaurant in town by far was the Plantagenet House - Quay Room.
Jan will tell you where it is, above the Harbour.
Highly recommendable.
That evening the place was full, advise booking in advance

Room Tip: Rooms 7 and 8 on the middle floor were the largest but the others are fine. Our room on the top flo...

My husband and I were recommended by friends to stay at Tenby on our drive through Wales. We thought it was just the most beautiful place despite it being cold, windy and wet. Our friends suggested strongly that we stay at Myrtle house in Tenby. We walked through the front door and felt this overwhelming sense of 'home'. We were greeted by Jan and her husband who were just so warm and friendly. We settled in very quickly. The room we occupied was just so lovely, clean and comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and found the hot breakfasts were had each morning was just the best. We could have whatever we wanted to order. Nothing was any bother. Jan also gave us lots of tips on places to visit while we stayed in Tenby. Overall, if we ever go back we will make sure we go back to Tenby and stay at Myrtle House Hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 8 which had a nice view of the street below.
