You wont be disapointed, this is a family run hotel and a very well run one.We spent xmas there and enjoyed ourselves immensly.... the food is great, all homecooked. It is a relaxed atmosphere and the family do go the extra mile to make the guest's feel welcome and their stay enjoyable.( Even to getting red wine stains out of a cream jumper for me!!!!) Would I stay again... most definitely, would I recommend it...., without a doubt.. I would like to thank them for making our xmas a very pleasant one, oh and I loved Tenby too.....

Spent new year 2012 at this hotel and found the family so welcoming, food excellent, rooms spotlessly clean.
Would recomend this hotel for a stay in tenby to anyone, ideally situated 200 yds from the beach if staying in summer, but the highlight of the visit has got to be the warmth and friendliness of the whole family consequently home frm home, thanks again to richard and his family for a great time,
S.F.M.

The staff here are wonderful especially Richard the owner. My daughter is a vegetarian and they went out of their way to make delicous meals for her and the food was very good anyway. They cannot do enough for you and I would hilghly recommend it to my friends and family. We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time.

Room Tip: I went with my daughter so we had a twin room and it was very quiet and the nearest to the reception

All in all, if you require a budget, no-nonsense room in a central location, The Albany fits the bill! True, the decor is not up to the Savoy but the bed was comfortable and most importantly the room was warm after an autumnal night out on the tiles in Tenby.
Walls are a bit thin, so those of you wanting a bit of peace and quiet or romance may be put off. Staff were helpful and pleasant and although we didn't have breakfast, the aromas wafting around the breakfast room stirred the senses!
Only slight sticking point was lack of on site car park - still I guess that this wasn't priority when the hotel was constructed in the mid 1800's!

stayed here 16 17 september our first contact was with the receptionist was not very welcoming gave us a key hardly any conversation pointed where room was when we entered the room it was very worn out and quite depressing there was a very unclean smell in the room we had to leave the window open the whole time day and night to try and freshen room the batroom was from the seventes you had to mix your own water from hot and cold tap the bed looked and felt like it was going to collapse no one changed the towels or bedding no one asked us was all ok during our stay the breakfast was ok nothing special the lad serving was a nice lad the man doing the breakfast was very nice and helpful but apart from this i would say pay alittle more and stay elsewhere we are not moaners and this is our honest opinion

Thank you for taking the time in writing the review but it is so disappointing that you did not mention anything to me during your stay as I could have rectified any issues that you had.

It is your opinion that the room was 'depressing and worn' and I do not understand the 'unclean smell' that you experienced. The bed is a wooden framed bed as are most of our beds in the hotel and the bath & shower are operated with mixer taps.

All rooms are serviced on a daily basis however on the Saturday morning you were asked if you required your room servicing and you declined, therefore how were we supposed to change any towels for you?

I served you on the one morning that you had breakfast (Saturday) and you did not mention anything to me regarding your issues so it is very frustrating that you did not give us an opportunity to rectify these issues which we would have gladly done.

Regards
