Clean, bright and bursting with activities for the whole family, Southport’s premier leisure attraction is sure to bring fun and laughter to every visitor. In 2016 we have brand new rides to experience, new performances around the park by our resident actors and magician, a fabulous family amusement arcade, a brand new coffee area serving beautiful Illy coffee, fun and games on the stalls, gift shop, food and drink outlets and the park is totally free to enter!

It is certainly not Alton Towers but is a good clean family funfair with a whole range of moderate rides for all ages.We enjoyed the park and coupled it up with a browse in the shops on Lord Street before catching the fun train back to the funfair to finish off .We had a lovely traditional day out by the seaside !

Some nice rides not as big or glamorous as it's bigger brother in Blackpool but worth the money and a visit

We visited the 29 July 2014, and were very impressed by the layout of the park. A lot of care had been made with flower beds, provision of seating and picnic tables. The rides whilst not cheap were good value for money and the kids (age range 7 to 14) thoroughly enjoyed it.
On looking at reviews since our visit have been suprised to see so many negatives - as we would certainly recommend for a family day out.

If you ever went to the old Pleasureland, be ready for a really nice surprise. This has been so revamped, everything about it is good. OK, it's not cheap, but, unfortunately , no quality fairgrounds are nowadays. Definitely worth the visit, especially for little ones.

Visited this ironically called pleasureland last week with my young children last week and was disappointed for the most part. It is expensive, felt very unsafe and after being rudely dealt with by a blonde girl on the Wild Cat ride was passed along to an even more unhelpful member of staff supposed to be some sort of management. Also there is an age restriction on a slide which meant my 4 year old could not go on which seems ridiculous for a ride clearly made for younger children and did not need to be told so bluntly. However there are some members that redeem this horrible place. I made sure to take down their names because without them this review would be a lot worse.
Faye and Daniel on the bumpers cars were so helpful and made us feel very reassured by enforcing safety procedures when other customers were behaving dangerously. Ben on the dragon ride was very good with my youngest daughter when she got scared and made her feel comfortable. Laura and Hannah on the ducks spoke to my children and made them laugh which made them less anxious. They were also very apologetic about ducks being broken. There was also a helpful young boy named Arek (I think) who took the time to fully explain the token cards to me as I did not completely understand and was not told while purchasing the card itself. I will not be returning until all of your staff are as well trained or at least get some manners and common sense.
