Description: Family run restaurant serving Italian food in addition to Burgers, Steaks, Fish etc. Our restaurant has been on Ocean Plaza for over twelve years, and we pride ourselves on being able to compete with the 'big boys' on this Branded-Commercial Leisure Site. Obviously sometimes this can bring it's issues - such as customers expecting fast food - we can never compete with the brands on speed as our food is not pre-packaged and frozen! Ocean Plaza offers free parking for customers and is home to an impressive multi-screen Vue Cinema, a 20 Lane Bowling Alley with Laser experience, a DW state of the art Fitness Club and a 95 bedroom Premier Travel Inn - which faces our restaurant.

Don't be put off by the awful reviews, this is a lovely friendly restaurant and all the staff work very hard.
I visited with my mum and we where greeted with a friendly reception and promptly shown to our table.
Our food choices where cooked to perfection, and the pasta sauce was the best i have had in a long while .
Keep up the good work, i will most defiantly be visiting again.

After our last experience at Robertos we decided to give it another go for the last time.
I'm so glad we did. Service was great - we both ordered the Blue Cheese Burgers which were not so great last time, however they great - nice and juicy.
The starter of the cheese and tomato garlic bread was also very very good!

We'll definitely be back - Thanks Lesley!

We had a lot of choice of places to eat the night we were in the area - most of which we had heard of before but gave this one a go as it wasn't one we recognised. We didn't realise until later that it is an indie restaurant and we are really pleased to have given them our custom - there are I think too many chains around serving the same thing and I hope there will always be space for the sole trader flying the flag of individuality. Not that there was anything little about the menu - they have a huge choice of pizzas, pastas, mains and starters, offer live music during the week and are child friendly without being child dominated (a tricky balance to strike in the location).

We found this restaurant by accident, looking for somewhere to eat and trying to by-pass the large chain ones on a Saturday night. It was busy. This is a one off. The first night a party of six of us went and all enjoyed the meal (Starter and main course) the pasta was excellent and salads lovely and fresh. Must have been made on the spot and not made earlier. The meal and drinks came to £104 for six without tip, so it was very reasonable. Two of us enjoyed the evening so much that we went back the next night (Sunday), only about four tables in use. The standard was the same.............excellent
