I booked a last minute nights stay at the Scarisbrick recently to meet up with friends. Parking was a bit difficult as limited spaces but plenty of other local parking in the area. The hotel is located on one of the main streets in Southport and I can imagine at some point it was top of the range. However, it is dated and needs modernisation.
The rooms were also a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The pool was very quiet but perfect for myself and my 7 year old but a bit of a treck from the changing rooms to the pool up lots of steps. There was also an additional charge to use it. £6 for us both.
Food was served buffet style and was a nice selection.
There are quite a lot of bars around the area and so there is some noise but we just asked for a room on the higher floors.
Couldn't really grumble for the price we paid.
