My mum and I went to see Pam Ayres.
We asked for help as my Mum had a hearing aid.
The young lady we spoke to was really helpful and organised a device so my Mum could hear everything.
The duty manager came over to check everything was alright and to let her know if we needed anything else.
The bar staff were superb during the interval with quick efficient service.
Really excellent staff

This building was beautifully presented but we couldn't find a real focus or reason to visit. There was a theatre in the building but nothing on that we wanted to see whilst we were there. The art gallery has displays following a theme. We were disappointed in the 'Walks' selection on display.

Thanks for your comments. The Atkinson will feature a number of different art exhibitions throughout the year. We will be opening the museum later in 2014, which I am sure you will agree will give the building more of a focus as there will be more to see and do. Hope you do come to visit us again.

On this occasion we went to see Pam Ayres and never stopped laughing throughout the show. My 5th show at the Atkinson and there is always something in the programme that I will come and see, the Atkinson attracts some great acts .

continuously changing displays, always worth a visit. If you have time good artisan cafe downstairs and a well stocked gift shop. Nt been to the theatre since the renovations.
