We were booked in from Friday 11/10/2013 till Sunday 13/10/2013
Very warm welcome although not too sure about the no receipt policy they have
Bedroom was of an average size with a double bed (felt a bit duped as last premier inn was a kingsize bed)
Fire alarm went off at 5:15am Saturday morning which meant everyone evacuated (never did find out why it went off) but true to their word Premier Inn refunded everyone for this incident as no-one got a good noghts sleep
We ate at the Brewers Fayre next door. Food was lovely. Friday night they had an all you could eat fish & chip buffet with some absolutely delicious smal fish portions
saturday night we ate from a choice made off the menu, again the food was lovely
The staff were extremely friendly and approachable, you were aware of their presence but not in an 'in your face' manner
I would stay here again.

stayed for one night and the location is perfect - really easy to find, and close to the pier and main area - cinema and loads of restaurants nearby - McDonalds just a few minutes away - rooms as good as ever - not keen on the tv stuck on a pole in the middle of the desk/table - corridors a bit narrow and long for this large hotel - overall a convenient, and good place to stay - parking free until 12.30 on day of departure - next time we'll stay in the summer

Comfortable hotel with own restaurant and available meal deal or there is a number of restaurants in the retail park. For entertainment there us a VUE across the road and if the weather is ok, you can walk down the seaside. Worth a stay if you are in the area.

Just got back from Southport Premier Inn, and again we had a great time. The accommodation is perfectly adequate for our needs and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The price, location and standard of rooms are up there with the more expensive of hotels, but for an inexpensive break, then these are just the ticket!!

This was our first time in a Premier Inn and will definitly use them again. We used Southport as a base for Liverpool and Blackpool and spent three nights here from Thursday to Saturday. The room was very spacious and very clean and bed exceptionally comfortable. Black out curtains also meant a good nights sleep. Staff were excellent. Always friendly helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble especially when we decided to stay an extra night at the last minute. The Hotel is set on a complex which has a Brewers Fayre attached to it (very good breakfasts) but the only down side is that there is NO REAL ALE at the pub. However a Marstons pub is due to open very shortly just across the road so that should sort that problem out. On the complex are many eating places including Frankie and Bennys, Bella Pasta, a mexican restaurant and a chinese buffet plus others and for the die hards there is a McDonalds across the road. There is also a cinema and bowling alley. Other eating places within 5 mins walk are Weatherspoons and a Hungry Horse plus local pubs and cafes.
