“Nice cottage in great location”
Reviewed 21 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We stayed here during February half term and had a very pleasant time. The cottage is well appointed and decorated throughout to a very good standard, the cottage was very clean and tidy.

As a family of 5 we did find it a bit tight on space but it still offered 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which for a property of this size was good. We didn't realise that towels weren't included with this rental - but a text to the owner saw towels delivered within 5 minutes. It would also have benefited from use of a washing machine. The owners were very pleasant and professional and were to hand for any request.

I did find it a bit on the chilly side, but there were storage heaters in each room and a fire in the lounge. The electricity was metered so I didn't want it to run out by putting the heaters on all the time!

This cottage is superbly located, a 5 minute walk one way to the sea front and the other way into the town centre. There is a handy shop at the end of the road and plenty of takeaways and restaurants a short stroll away.

A good choice for a rental in Southport.

“Cute well located cottage”
Reviewed 24 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coach House. Very friendly owners, clean tidy cottage that has been updated recently. We were delighted to find we could access everything in southport by foot from this cottage. The cottage everything we needed for our week long stay, except a washing machine. This was fine as we found a laundry mat a couple of streets away. A lovely place to stay - good value for money.

“Delightful accommodation, everything for a perfect family break.”
Reviewed 4 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We had a lovely stay in Southport, the accommodation was absolutely lovely and the hospitality of the owners was perfect. Southport was a real surprise to us as we have never been to this area of England before, we loved it and will be returning again so we can explore more of this wonderful place. Everyone we met during our stay was welcoming and friendly and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

“Great character, great location , great hosts.”
Reviewed 22 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

This is a lovely little 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom character property. The kitchen is compact and well appointed , the lounge is very cosy especially in the evenings with the fire & lamplight. The property is a 5 min walk to lord st with a track express at the end of the road, and Amanda & Colin are great hosts, extremely professional, amenable and friendly without being at all intrusive, we will definitely be returning.

“Charming characterful accommodation, perfect location”
Reviewed 12 September 2014 for a stay in December 2013

Great house, perfectly located within walking distance of everything you could need on holiday. We were visiting family nearby, but the owners were really friendly and helpful when we needed anything. There are loads of interesting shops on Lord Street to explore, as well as some lovely beaches and parks a short distance away. We stayed before the re-furb, but the house has everything you might need, lovely comfy beds, modern and clean rooms, and a powerful shower. The furniture is all new and very comfortable, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a holiday or business trip.
