Booked for a double birthday celebration. Stayed at The Ramada Plaza so easy to find as right across the road. Very good first impressions. Friendly staff who made you feel very welcome. Had drinks in the bar first while waiting for table to be ready. Nicely decorated and very clean.
Ordered the food along with a second drink. This is where the only disappointment came. 2 portions of ribs were ordered and arrived cold in the middle. Quickly taken away and fresh brought back but again not piping hot. Couldnt fault the other 2 starters, especially the Calamari.
Mains were very good. My Beef Stroganoff was excellent and plenty of it. Cocktails to finish, asked for a Southern Comfort cocktail and got a Jack Daniels one but went down the same.
All together, apart from the Ribs, impressed with the food, service and value and wouldnt think twice about going again when in Southport.

A group of us all went for the first time. We all thought it was great value as well as tasty well prepared food with good ingredients. The staff looked after us very well, and 3 hours was suddenly gone! Quite a few of the group have planned to have another go soon with their families. A £££ experience at £ prices. We'll be back ...

We went for a meal here with friends on a Saturday night. It was quite busy and had a nice atmosphere. Staff and service was very good. Food was OK, but not very inspiring. We have been to Italian restaurants where the food has been a lot more flavour some. I had the grilled fish platter which was OK no more and no less and the pate, which only tasted of liver nothing else. I was a bit disappointed, average for me summed it up

went with 13, oldies to kids and 1 newly diagnosed gluten intolerant. EVERYTHING is gluten free; pasta, pizza sauces, the lot. we will go again for the ease of ordering for the gluten intolerant.

Child friendly, really helpful and friendly and fun staff (without being overbearing) and excellent service.

most importantly ...the food: very good from starters to sweets and a decent beer and wine selection. not one complaint, kids cleaned plates and so did grown ups. £150 all in (4 little kids) would recommend.
