“It Really Is Cosy and Quirky!”
Reviewed 18 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We've just come back from a fabulous weekend in Teesdale, made possible by Tom and this gorgeous little cottage.
Just as advertised, it's cosy, quirky and a perfect home from home. We were sadly only around for the weekend, but the area has so much to offer too - we visited High Force and Low Force waterfalls before attending the incredible Kynren (The Pink House is just a couple of miles from the show). We shall have to return to see more of this beautiful area - our dogs loved it too!
Access could not have been more fuss-free, the house is quiet and peaceful and the neighbours are friendly. Stunning kitchen with everything we needed, hot and powerful shower, secluded and secure outside area ideal to let dogs out in, lovely views from upstairs over rolling fields with grazing horses... just loved it! Thank you!

“A very enjoyable stay!”
Reviewed 3 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a lovely house and Tom was very helpful to us. These are old Engineman's cottages and the whole terrace felt very neighbourly and lovely.
The Weardale railway was good for us ... it is great fun and enthusiastically run by volunteers with a station close by . The local nature reserve is a short walk away .... lots of orchids and bird life..
