I have stayed at the hotel twise over the past year - for one night in each case.
Although I did not dine there , in all other aspects the hotel was excellent for the price
and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. It is the sort of hotel where you would
not feel too upset if you has to stay more than one night.

Stayed here for 2 days recently at a training conference. Have used this hotel before and room has been good. However this time...
First the good bits. My bedroom was good, bed too soft for me but that is just personal preference. Bathroom sotless. Evening meal was excellent - many commented on how good it was. However not all was good or how it was supposed to be!
Our training room had no natural light. When our company booked th e package we were told it had "secondary natural light". The member of staff was referring to ceiling spoty lights! How natural is that? How natural is electric lighting?!!! Whenever we had break outs we had to go to the front of the hotel to get a bit or actual natural light! The lunches that came up were poor - the sandwiches on day one had curled up they had been out for that long and no-one ate them. A real shame as the evening meal was so good. There was also no description with any of the buffet left so it was pot luck and dangerous for anyone with an allergy. Finally, staffing in the bar in the eveing needs to be increased - there was one poor lady working herself to the bone to try and cope with what must have been 50 people in the bar from different groups. It took someone 20 minutes to get her some help!

This hotel should be better that 3/5!

Dear CurrymonstersTbone,

Thank you for the review, i do believe that we spoke about this on the day,
A lot of our Conference rooms do indeed have natural daylight, but its true to say not all.
Your group had a working lunch & unfortunately you broke a lot later for lunch than planned, had we of known about this we could have delivered the Lunch later.

I will pass on your comments regarding the bar, as this could have been handled better.

We are just about to start on a total refurbishment of our Conference rooms, this will be done in stages, starting with the 4th Floor. By total refurbishment, i mean, flooring, state of the art AV, Lighting & Redecorating, we will not be using heavy, noisy equipment, so the impact on our guests will be zero, as the rooms have been taken off line well in advance.

This will not have an impact on our Bedrooms.

I hope to see you again soon.

Regards

This is a very nice hotel . I stayed there for one night between business trips. The place is immaculate and the staff that we encountered were all very polite and helpful. It's very close to the airport . The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. the only thing i dislike was that the rooms felt kind of oldish which were in contrast to the rest of the hotel.

I was here for a two day conference and everything was well organised and the hotel operates very efficiently. Check-in was seamless and friendly and a nice touch to 'phone me 5 minutes after getting to my room to make sure everything was OK.
As you'd expect at a large airport hotel it is very busy and the prices reflect the situation and the majority business people here on expenses! But the facilities are good and service efficient and friendly.
I doubt if I would stay here unless on business or needing to be at Heathrow, and certainly not if I was paying personally and not on business expenses!

Stayed here for one night in November 2013.

Very nice interior of hotel. Presentable and helpful staff. Room was clean. Aircraft noise was not an issue at all, despite being so close to Heathrow. The hotel seems to be aimed at the more well-heeled executive traveller, so the prices in the bar (plus a 12.5% service charge) were a bit jarring for a non-Londoner.

Introduction
Located about 5 - 10 minutes drive from London Heathrow airport, Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel in England looks small and non-descript from the outside. But step inside, and the elaborate and opulent interior which exudes old world colonial charm impresses. And while the service of staff here is good, the location of Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel is relatively poor, being quite far away from the city.

Ambience
Ambience within Radisson Blu Edwardian is grand in the main areas, such as the main reception foyer and the conference foyer. But go beyond into the rooms however, and Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel starts to feel cramped... The layout of the place is a maze of corridors and dim lighting. Fortunately, signage to the various areas is clear.

Room
I stayed in the Superior Room of Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel. The room was small and cramped, with barely any walking space, although it had a work desk. The wardrobe, while sufficient, was also rather small, as was the bathroom. Fortunately, the room was comfortable and clean, and the clear wall to ceilings windows offered a good view of the surrounding area outside Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel.

Food
Food at Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel is rather limited, with only 1 restaurant, and 1 bar. Menu options are limited as well. However, dishes served at the Trunk Restaurant & Bar use locally-sourced, fresh ingredients, which packs good taste and flavour, and the chef's skill is evident in the well-prepared, and tastefully presented dishes. Portions are big, and more than enough for a single person.

Service
Service at Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel is above average, but not outstanding. Staff are friendly, polite and efficient, able to accomodate requests, but the service at Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel isn't particularly memorable or commendable. The exception is the banquet and events personnel, who go out of their way to assist during setting up / tearing down of events. Because of them, I would highly recommend Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel for corporate functions.

Facilities & Activities
The facilities at Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel for leisure are limited, with only a small gymnasium and health spa. However, Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel has very good business and conference facilities, with spacious rooms and classical decor, and a well-equipped business centre. Catering for functions is good, with a nice range of food options, and at relatively affordable prices.

The rooms are a good size, comfortable and well appointed. There is no noise form the airport. The décor is a little too glitzy and over the top but it didn't detract from the experience. The breakfast is excellent. The service in the restaurant was a little slow and we were served under cooked chicken however this was quickly replaced. I will be back to stay at this hotel again soon.
