We stayed five nights and unfortunately experienced more minus than pluses.
Pluses: Reception, bar, restaurants etc. were stately with a good atmosphere. We stayed at two rooms, both of which were OK with a good range of amenities such as hotel safe, hairdryer, WiFi etc. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was good.
Minuses: The sound insulation was poor; we heard everything going on in the hallway and a lot of what was going on in other rooms. TV bandwidth was poor, at times hardly any channels were working. The shower head was mounted too low for a tall man - but curiously it was mounted higher in a superior room than a standard room. Food except breakfast was mediocre at best. Service was generally poor throughout the hotel, including the reception, the bar and the restaurant - although some of the staff were up to par, notably one guy in the restaurant, one or two persons in the reception and the concierge. Also, the maid failed to restock toilet paper in our room twice during our five nights' stay.More
