My partner and I stayed here the night I landed on my flight from Australia. The beautiful deep bath was hot, amazing and exactly what I needed.

We booked a late check out and wandered down to enjoy a club sandwich and cocktail in the bar the next morning. My partner commented on the wonderful Italian/Spanish attendee behind reception whose manner was so polite and professional.

In addition the blonde bar attendee (also foreign) stood out as excellent, the clubs were tasty and generous and the cocktails started my holiday off on a very nice note.

A perfect stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this property being that it is an airport location and a Radisson. I would typically not stay at a Radisson property back home in the states.
The lobby is gorgeous and the bar and lounge are both attractively designed as well. Room service food was excellent, although the chef added olives to my seafood pizza as a substitute to a topping that they were out of. Unfortunately, olives are one of the few foods I detest. The kitchen offered to make a new pizza immediately.
The room was average sized and comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. The shower only has a half-glass partition covering the front half instead of a full curtain or glass. This means that the floor gets extremely wet when showering. No bar soap was available in the room. Only shower gel. That seems odd to me.
I believe that there is a shuttle available to the airport. However, we did not want to be dependent on the shuttle schedule. A cab ride to Heathrow was £16 (~$26), pretty steep for such a short ride. Most cabs will not take credit cards for such a short trip. uI was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this property being that it is an airport location and a Radisson. Unlike in the states where a merchant cannot typically legally limit the size of a transaction for credit cards, cabbies reserve the right to do so in London apparently. However, the front desk will charge the cab ride to your room and give you the cash to pay your cabbie. That's the first I've seen that. Very convenient.
All told, I would highly recommend the property.

We missed our connection at Heathrow and had to overnight at the Radisson. For a large hotel I was very impressed. Lovely room, lovely linen, bath in the bathroom as well as shower and QUIET. The staff were LOVELY. At 11pm when the restaurant was closed I was sceptical about the quality of a bar meal. Oh ye of little faith - the food was lovely. We needed to order breakfast on the go for a very early start. It was delivered well on time, the croissants must have come straight from the oven. And the delivery chap was so polite at such an early hour - it brought joy to my heart. Have no hesitation in staying here.

Room Tip: I think all must be very good.

For the harried businessperson with the means, the Radisson Blu at Heathrow is a good choice overall. The rooms are decent, the cleanliness is outstanding, the amenities good. The Trunk Restaurant in the hotel has a more interesting menu than the usual business hotel. Owned by a Mr. Singh, most of the staff are Indian, and they all are very clearly committed to customer service. The biggest problem is a lack of English language skills on the part of some of the lower-level staff. We had truly outstanding service by the check-in desk and the concierge, both of whom were native English speakers, but a few tiresome glitches in the restaurant and with room service, caused in both cases by their inability to comprehend pretty basic English. Management might want to invest in some English language training for selected lower-level staff. The other problem was difficulty in getting breakfast as there was a loooong line into the dining room in the morning. Management might want to add at least one server and perhaps consider a few café-type tables in the large lobby restricted to coffee/tea and Danish service just for overflow breakfast times.

This quality Heathrow hotel is only decent anymore, A 25-minute wait at check-in, due to a system crash and poor skills, was ridiculous.

The rooms in the labyrinthine hotel are still OK, thou dark.

The breakfast was good, although the breakfast restaurant is totally unsuited for breakfasts (and everything else) with its ridiculous round chairs; difficult to sit, difficult to move.

Dear rokkap,

Thank you for the review, as you say, we had a system crash which caused issues, i'm sorry about that, i'm not sure when you last stayed but all the F&B outlets have been refurbished since then.

Stayed here for two nights great hotel absolutely loved it. The staff are nice and welcoming room was spacious and the best thing was two different restaurant, what else can you expect. I had dinner in the trunk restaurant. The scallops were delicious, nicely cooked and had steak for my main and I must say it was one of my best steak I ever had. Staff in the restaurant seem to well organised and very attentive. Overall everything was great and most importantly the hotel was close to airport had an early flight so it helped a lot.
