Great day out exploring the south downs, got lost a few times but it made a welcome change from London for a couple of days.

Great walk, Paths well marked - a little muddy from all the recent rain but still walkable. Quite busy. Fantastic views from the top. Lots of people just sitting watching the sun setting - what could be nicer?

Really amazing views, enjoyed the wide open spaces and lovely routes that can be done. I've walked it, run it and many more times have rode it on a mountain bike. Great!

Lovely: profusion of wild flowers in spring, with cowslips & orchids & idyllic bluebell woods. Golden cornfields in August. Beeches & larches which turn wonderful shades of gold in November. Beautiful in the snow. Views of the sea & the Isle of Wight. Plenty of nice pubs too.
Don't let them ruin it: keep fracking out.

To call it a National Park is misleading. Its man made and well looked after by farmers and land lords over the centuries. Still the added protection of the Park is on balance a good thing but a more rounded response might be better in 10 years time. Don't expect to see much evidence of being in a National Park, I think they are trying to keep it secret.
