We stayed here as part of a ten day walk along the South Downs Way. We arrived in time for a light lunch which we had in the garden then took a bus to nearby Chichester. Our room was very comfortable and homely. We were asked what we would like for breakfast. Having had several full English breakfast in a row they were happy to oblige my request for a cream tea instead. The breakfast was served in the tea room using a charming assortment of Burleigh china. We were also very pleased with our pack lunches, choice of sandwiches, pork pies and cakes to die for.
