We stayed for 1 night at this beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly, the room, Henry VIII, was absolutely wonderful. On arrival we took afternoon tea on the terrace overlooking the gardens and later had a lovely evening meal. The hotel feels as though you are in the middle of the countryside, it's peaceful and very relaxing. We are definitely planning a longer stay next time.

Room Tip: Stay in Henry VIII suite, it's well worth the extra cost.

We booked a one night stay with a Groupon voucher which included the five course taster menu, at a substantial discount. The hotel was charming and very picturesque, with beautiful pink roses trailing across the old facade. The first room we were shown was clean and modern, but was rather claustrophobic as it had a sloping ceiling and just two small high windows. We asked if we could change it, and paid an extra £30 for an upgrade to the Anne of Cleeves room in one of the garden blocks. The view wasn't brilliant, but the room was spacious and well appointed, with comfortable furniture and a luxury bathroom with quality toiletries, gowns, slippers etc.,
The dinner was excellent with decent sized portions, beautifully prepared, well presented and served in an unhurried manner in a lovely modern dining room with garden views (and kitchen doors like those on the old Starship Enterprise!).
Our only complaint was that we were unexpectedly charged more than £4 for the water we had requested (wine also ordered). We should perhaps, have expected a charge, but the amount was excessive, and we are perfectly happy with tap water.
Breakfast also was delicious, with an excellent menu (had the porridge with whiskey - lovely!).
The staff at this hotel are a huge asset. They were all pleasant, helpful and very professional and many hotels could learn from their example.
The gardens are very pretty and there is a lovely bar terrace.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Thank you Langshott Manor!

I stayed at the beautiful old-world boutique hotel on a voucher deal. It was fabulous from the minute we arrived. Lovely concierge Sam managed to find us a room with a patio, and reduced the price from the first (also beautiful) room we'd looked at. It is like a leafy, traditional oasis of calm. Lovely that there's no spa, or any other distractions, we just HAD to sit back and relax. The food was excellent (we had the tasting menu), and so was the wine and the sommelier. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks.

Room Tip: Go for one overlooking the pond.

We booked a spur of the moment night away to cheer ourselves up and were not disappointed.
However if you decide to stay don't follow the sat nav ! it takes you down a very narrow dirt track.
Once there it was just what we needed - old fashioned service with a smile.
Nice grounds and comfortable lounges to sip champagne in.
Dinner is excellent - modern and presented beautifully. Let the sommelier guide you through the extensive wine list - you won't be disappointed.
Very convenient for Gatwick airport we just might treat ourselves late in the year and start our holiday a day early.
Recommended.

Probably one of the most intimate boutique hotels we have stayed in. This hidden gem is surprisingly close to Gatwick Airport, but it feels like it's in the countrside, with it's rustic charm and romantic setting. the staff were exceedingly polite and helpful, and the gardens on a sunny day were enchanting. We didn't sample the evening food as we thought this was too expensive, but breakfast was very good. We would recommend this hotel to couples mainly, or a small group. The website has good deals at the moment so take advantage. This hotel is a small luxury treat, and we will be back!

Stayed in this beautiful hotel as a treat for my birthday by my partner. Got here in time for champagne afternoon tea which we had as an alternative to lunch. We had a lovely comfortable room that had a four poster bed and a four poster bath and had a bottle of champagne in the room. Dinner and wine in the restaurant was excellent. Slept so well in the bed we didn't want to leave it for breakfast, so had that brought to the room. We enjoyed this one night stay very much and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys food and wine and wants a relaxing getaway.
