I booked a hotel / parking package with Holiday Extra's. After reading some of the reviews on TA I was a tad concerned - I needn't have been.
Check in was quick & efficient and the room was clean & comfortable. We had already checked in at the South Terminal but returned there to eat. The staff were helpful in providing bus times and sold us tickets for not only the evening but also for our outbound & inbound transfers.
We had a drink in the bar which was a tad expensive but this is to be expected at an airport hotel.
Our transfers both ways went smoothly & my car was awaiting me on our return.
I would use the hotel again..

I stayed 1 night here. The hotel was perfectly fine. Not flash, but clean and comfortable. Needed to charge my phone and used the friendly reception staff's charger for free.
Do need to pay for wi-fi, but all in all a great stay which I thought value for money

Room next to back door which guest had to use all night long ,never got to sleep at all.Car park was a lake no where to park without having to walk in water over my shoes. We was leaving the car at the holiday inn never again at 05.30 after a 8 hour trip home to be told we can not find your keys,After 15 mins wait we got the keys poor poor service sorry holiday inn

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused to you when you came to pick up your keys from Reception and we thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We do sincerely apologise; but unfortunately the water in the car park was due to the severe weather conditions over the past few weeks, which has been completely beyond our control.

To any customer wishing to book this hotel and book there car in storage whilst on holiday - think twice. I went on holiday for two weeks and come back to my new 13 month car destroyed caused by staff moving my vehicle into "deep water" to save storage in the carpark. The hotel does not wish to accept responsibilty even though it was in there care. They did admit they moved my car whilst I away and it was left in the same spot for two weeks submerged in water. Management was not helpful and was not prepared to even talk to me and my family as to how this issue could be solved. Both the AA and the garage that my vehicle had to be taken too have all stated the fault is down to the Hotel but yet they still have yet to solve this issue. I come back from a lovely family holiday to being £870.00 out of pocket and still rising bt according to the hotel its a fault with the manufacture but paperwork states otherwise. I was standed in Gatwick with two young children with no help what so ever from this company.

We have been trying to help you since the problem with your car came to light but, as you know, you have not been able to provide us with any evidence to link the problems you are experiencing with your car to flooding. We remain happy to talk to you about it. Thousands of our guests park their vehicles with us at Holiday Inn London-Gatwick Airport every year. We are a trusted establishment within a convenient distance from the airport. We take the safety and security of the cars left parked with us incredibly seriously. Seeking a resolution to this rare and unfortunate incident is important to us all. We will continue to liaise with you, as we have done since the incident came to light.

We have stayed at this hotel many times before and always found the service excellent but this time they have gone the extra mile
We returned to the hotel in early hours of the morning to find that we had a problem with our car and we were not able to get home. Jonathan offered us a room and said we would sort it out in the morning we had breakfast and the manager and magic the man that dealt with the parking came to see us and sure enough he told us what was wrong with the car and said he could get it fixed but it would take a while but no problem the manager hired us a car to get us home.We did not have to do anything it was all sorted for us.
l stay in a lot of hotels due to my job and have never experienced such exceptional customer service. i would recommend this hotel to anyone
And we cannot thank all staff concerned enough

I booked the room at late notice for an early morning flight. Check in was quick and efficient with the room clean and comfortable. Transfer to the airport was easy on a regular bus service although there was a small charge for this service.

This is our second stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Speedy check in. We had a great deal on a room with 15 nights parking. Easy and safe parking. I had a flat battery on return and the staff were ready and waiting to assist and we were off with no problems. We paid extra for a family room with double and 2 single beds. Lots of room, clean and comfortable,
