Chosen, basically for low price and proximity to airport. It is scruffy, ill kempt and slightly run down. Avoid at all costs.

It will not get your journey or holiday off to a good start! It might be possible to argue that because the price is low it represents value for money, but I think it is reasonable to expect ant place to haver a basic standard of cleanliness.

This hotel does not meet that basic standard

We stayed here for 1 night prior to visiting Chessington World of Adventures. On arrival we were given the option of a ground floor or 1st floor room. We chose the 1st floor as we thought it would be quieter. When we got to the room we found it faced on to busy main road and we thought it might disturb us during the night. However, once the window was closed we heard no traffic and had a very good night's sleep. Our room was small but was very clean and comfortable. We opted for the English breakfast which was ok but could have been better presented. As a one-off one nighter this hotel fitted the bill and was good value for money.

Room Tip: One side of the hotel faces a busy main road.

We found this hotel on Booking.com while looking for somewhere to stay for one night prior to flying off to Dublin. At £45 inclusive of breakfast we thought, and were correct that it was too good to be true. It turned out that you get what you pay for. The hotel is shabby, in desperate need of redecoration in all the public areas and the rooms. The bedroom was very dated, carpets torn and various bits of the décor stuck on hastily in a very crude manner. The multi-colour toilet and very poor shower did nothing to ease us into holiday mode but at least the sheets looked clean and the mattress was free from bedbugs. We had dinner in the restaurant, an event we would not recommend. The authentic curry was only authentic if you like English curry not Indian! The only real plus point is free transfer to the airport between 09.00 to 22.00, and the 30 minutes free WIFI. Although the manager was very apologetic and took 10% off our food bill we would not be in a rush to return to this hotel. This hotel could benefit from a visit by the "Hotel Inspector"!

Room Tip: Choose another hotel or eat out as plenty of good restaurants and take away within walking distance...

Very basic- you get what u pay for came to mind
Had a meal on onsite restaurant I was the only customer there and was watched all the time.
I felt very uneasy all the time I was there and could not wait to leave.
Heating came on during the night and all you could hear was a dripping noise

Room Tip: dont go there

We stayed here for only one night fortunately. The rooms were filthy we ended up being told to find the room ourselves when we got there it had not been cleaned, so we went back to get another room. Not funny after a long plane journey. We will not be returning.

I have used this B and B, several times. My work involves pick-up/ drop offs at Gatwick/ Heathrow, so I need a comfortable close to the airport accommodation.
It is within easy reach of North and South Terminals. Offers transfers and car parking.
Large dining room- offers Continental breakfast- and cooked breakfast. Food choice- good.
Rooms. (I have used several of them over the last few months). All have been clean/tidy, with all fitments/fittings working, and in good order. Even a clock radio/alarm. Shower room well stocked- ample hot water- clean sinks toilets.
Staff- very polite and efficient.
Very close to Horley- Well presented small town. Pubs/ cafes/ shops/ Banks/ Petrol stations....and Takeaways.
Prices for stays- about the average for the area, or slightly lower?
Please be advised- It is not a "big branded chain". It is an "individual, and I believe a family run/involved business ".
I have not experienced any of the issues/problems that other guests have had. If I ever do, I will/would advise the Staff, straight away. I have the confidence that he/she would strive to try and correct any problem.
Just expect a "simple, unpretentious bed and breakfast". - clean sheets/ comfortable bed.

Room Tip: Perhaps the "quieter rooms", are at the rear, overlooking the garden.

Stayed this family-run - hotel. Had room #1 in the bottom floor. Place was tidy enough to stay
gladly for one night. A bit scruffy but have no complaints. The room had shower and good tv-set to use. Hair-dryer was supplied as well as water cooker and coffee/tea-bags.
Hotel had spacious breakfast/restaurant-facilities and the reception was well managed.
Don't really have anything to complain for short stay.
They charge 6 pounds if you use the airport transfer off the usual hours but that was mentioned in the booking confirmation. Clean sheets and towels.
