Stopped for brunch, delicious fresh scrambled egg / bacon etc. Didn't have a cake but they looked fab. Not as overpriced as some other farm cafés.

We've been visiting the Coffee Bothy for years and have never had a meal that we did not enjoy. The soups are especially good - in decent sized portions as well!

The menu is tired and drab and the quality really poor. The quiche was pretty tasteless but what made it worse was the fact that it had obviously been microwaved as it was soggy. Two portions of macaroni cheese were over cooked and dried out. Sandwiches were all bread and little filling. Prices are very high for what it is and worsened by the fact that soft drinks are extortionate - nearly £1.70 for a can of coke.

The Farm shop which we have visited before has really surprisingly gone down hill.

In short there are far better places to go with higher standards and fairer prices. The only redeeming feature is brilliant service.

Great food, cooked well, service good. Fresh and decent choices. Not massive amounts but what's available comes from the local farm and is fresh and of high quality! Friendly and consistent service.

It's still part of the farm it sits on and as well as the coffee shop/restaurant there is a store for all foods and cards and furniture and knick knacks which are produced in Scotland.

There is always good service and delicious food. Husband had the full Scottish breakfast (served until 12) as we made it to the table a few minutes to twelve, I had a black pudding and feta salad, which was lovely and filling. He managed to polish off a large strawberry tart as well, all served with good pots of tea.

The view is outstanding as well.
