We stayed 2 nights in May 2014 and could not have been happier. As others have stated, Laura is a superb host! She has created a very inviting space for her guests to relax, feel at home, and get to know each other. We really enjoyed the living room and patio as an extension to our well appointed bedroom. So much better then being in a hotel. The location was perfect with just a short walk to town. The views from the deck are wonderful and her yard and flowers are beautifully kept. The breakfast is amazing too. If we are fortunate enough to visit Scotland again, we would love to return to Castlecroft for a few nights.

Room Tip: We stayed on the lower level with a patio and really enjoyed the personal outdoor space. The room i...

We stayed here last night. Laura was so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. She welcomed us with tea and a tray of petit four. Room was very clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast with homemade bread which was a real treat! Susie and Jon Dixon, Cheshire.

A warm and friendly welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast. The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean. The breakfasts were delicious with tasty homemade bread. We would definitely return and recommend this bed and breakfast.

Laura goes out of her way to make each persons stay here feel at home and extremely comfortable. She offers a delicious breakfast that she cooks for you each morning with fresh homemade bread that is mouth watering. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. The room comes with bottled water, cookies and chocolates. There is a sitting room downstairs or patio to have a drink, talk, play games, take pictures, relax or enjoy the view of the beautiful garden and greenery. The view from this B&B is spectacular. Stirling Castle is just a few minute walk or drive. There are several local restaurants close by that are delicious, shopping and museums if you are looking for things to do while in town. I'd recommend a stay at this beautiful B&B if you are in town. You won't be disappointed.

Our third stay here. Castlecroft simply cannot be beaten for value for money, warmth of welcome and quality of hospitality. The rooms are sumptuously appointed and the Wifi is reliable. The elevated location at the undercroft of the castle is impressive. The weather was not good during our short stay on this occasion but on a clear day there are grand views across the vale to the hills beyond, and it is no more than a 15-minute walk from Stirling town along a lovely wooded path. We would not stay anywhere else.

Laura is so welcoming ...breakfast is great and the rooms were spotless and comfortable! we were so glad we stayed here ....wonderful value and so close to Stirling Castle. All the little touches like bottled water and a hairdryer in the room made it so special . It is clear to see why this B&B is so highly rated. The breakfast is wonderful! Laura goes out of her way to answer questions and make you feel welcome and at home. It is truly a charming oasis!

Brilliant B & B near to Stirling Castle. Laura was the best host I have ever met and wished we could have stayed longer. This is the place to stay for peace and comfort and breakfast was top class. Room was very spacious and so clean and fresh with nice bottled water also. Sitting room downstairs was so relaxing and lovely gardens. Would highly recommend staying with Laura and her lovely Mum. honestly the best b & b I have stayed in. Short taxi or nice walk to lovely Indian Restaurant as recommended by Laura.
