“Great way to see Scotland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2013 via mobile

This was our second tour with Bruce. Three years ago we visited Scotland for our honeymoon and for part of our time we booked a 5 day tour of the Highland and Orkney with Bruce. IT turned out so well that when we cam back this year one of the first things we arranged was a 3 day trip to Arran, Burns country and the Borders. Bruce always seems to know the best paces to stay and to eat, the best spots for photos, etc. We found that we could see and do so much more with Bruce than we could have done with Bruce.
We generally are independent travellers who like to make our own arrangements, but including some time with a guided tour by Bruce added a lot to our holiday.

“When in Scotland travel with Bruce”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2013

Six of us from a cruise ship recently booked a full day tour from Greenock (Glasgow) with Bruce Telford – (brucesscotlandtours.com). We went to Loch Lomond and the lovely village of Luss on the shoreline. We then had a most interesting visit to Stirling Castle where we also had a nice lunch. Bruce planned the day very carefully and was most knowledgeable about the history of Scotland and details of the sights we saw.
We were lucky that we booked him several months in advance since he was able to fit us in with his busy schedule. I recommend him highly.

“Abso-froggin-lutely Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2013

Four of us from Cincinnati recently completed a fantastic tour of the Highlands with Bruce. His knowledge of the area and the wonderful historical stories of the Highlands made our trip extremely special. He was always a gentleman with the ladies and a great jokester with the men. We may get back in the future for tours of Glasgow and Liverpool and we will definately book with Bruce. Better book with him early.

“Great tour with Bruce!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2013

We came to Scotland, along with our son who is studying for a year in Cambridge, to take a four day tour through the highlands. My husband is a university scholar, and so we had a research agenda as well. We wanted to visit an out of the way Scottish resort town called Dunoon....also, we were keen to visit the small village of Dunning (since that is our last name!). Bruce was wonderfully resourceful in putting together a trip that included all of our strange requests, without missing any of the spectacular highlights of northern Scotland. He is extremely well informed about his native land, and seems to know the owner of every hotel and restaurant in the country! Our son was ecstatic when Bruce took us to Scotland's smallest (and perhaps most exclusive?) distillery. One of the mishaps of our trip was a broken suitcase (wheels fell off). Bruce took us to a Big Box store in one of the small towns, and within a half hour, we had a new suitcase and were back on schedule with our tour! We had a lot of fun with Bruce and feel that he took care of our needs in a wonderful way. We highly recommend him!
