Found this bar/restaurant by chance as out of the way from main shops. Excellent service throughout. Greeted from minute walk through the door cannot fault customer service. Didn't have to wait long for food and was delicious. Will definitely be back and recommending to others

So we entered this bar for a drink, no more no less. The girl told me we could only order drinks if we took some food along? Erm? She seemed embarassed to tell us, obviously not her own idea. This is not the way to run a pub, isn't it?

Hi there, thanks for the review but i think there must have been a misunderstanding, we do allow people into the pub just have to a drink, but we dont allow children in the pub unless they have food as its in our licience. Under 18's arent allowed in for food unless there is someone with them over 18, i hope this is of some help.
Thanks

Six of us visited this pub on recommendation by another pub’s staff. We got there to all tables being full but Laura made sure to fit us in almost immediately. The steaks were cooked perfectly and we were happily allowed to swap the chips for veg. The staff are so friendly and helpful, probably the best experience we’ve had after travelling through the UK for the last week. Thanks guys!

I had two meals at No2 Pub and they were both well priced and very tasty. The service was excellent and the staff are friendly. Its an easy walk from the Hostel even in the rain.

We met our family at this great pub for dinner after flying in from Australia. The food and service was excellent, friendly and the lovely staff couldn't do enough to make us comfortable! We had our two young sons with us and the staff made sure they were always happy even giving them some World Cup promotional merchandise which kept them busy for hours - allowing us to spend time with family we hadn't seen for years. Thanks to Val and the rest for an awesome Scottish pub experience. I definitely recommend visiting this pub if you are in Stirling! We will definitely we back !
