“Lovely accomodation and hosts.”
Reviewed 23 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Laurels. Ann and her husband are very friendly and helpful. It was a great start to our holiday in Scotland, fresh off the plane from Australia. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with all you need. Shopping is a short drive away, or you can walk to nearby eateries.

“Perfect house and spot to see the sights of Stirling”
Reviewed 31 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

The location of the property is perfect to walk into the centre of Stirling and there are some stunning places to visit that are not far by car.
The property is clean and very homely and all the little touches the owners leave in the property for you make for a relaxing stay.
The bedrooms are large and the kitchen is a great place to all catch dinner with the wonderful view of the garden.
If your looking for a family friendly alternative to a hotel then this is it, we will definitely be back again.

“Great holiday let in Stirling”
Reviewed 7 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

The apartment was centrally located and near to supermarkets and the city centre. Extremely well equipped and well appointed and decorated. Plenty of loo rolls, dishwasher and laundry tablets and an efficient heating system so was always cosy. The 2 bedrooms, lounge and kitchen/diner were spacious much larger than you normal get in a holiday rental. Kingsize beds with firm mattresses.

A nice touch was a decorated and lit xmas tree in the lounge, coffee, sweets and a bottle of champagne!

The WiFi failed a couple of times and the owner who lived in the apartment above was prompt in fixing it.

My only criticism was that both settees in the lounge were overly soft resulting in no back support and difficulty in getting up and out of them.

We have rented plenty of flats both home and abroad and this was the best we had ever stayed in.

Highly recommended.

We have just returned from a short week away to Stirling in bonny Scotland with our two teenage children in tow. We had the pleasure in staying at The Laurels, which is beautiful, scrupulously clean, warm, comfortable and welcoming all in one. It is perfectly situated for visiting many places of interest, and was wonderful to come back to at the end of a day trekking around in the wild Scottish weather & beautiful countryside! We met Anne's husband, Derek, who was most helpful, warm and welcoming upon our arrival, typical of Scottish hospitality! The apartment had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable & comfortable, with a real home from home experience. The Laurels is one of the nicest accommodations we have had the pleasure of staying in, both here and abroad. Highly recommended.
