We visited for a lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Despite the nice interior, the place was deserted - only another 2 tables in. As a result the staff were fairly attentive - at times perhaps excessively so, although they were very pleasant and quite young. The menu is fine - your usual pub grub and prices are ok. The food was just that - ok. Presentation was nice and the portion sizes fine. I do however have a couple of gripes...
1. The side salad which accompanies most dishes is drowning in a mustard style dressing. This is not indicated on the menu and I do have an allergy to mustard...
2. The fries were done in an oil which tasted stale and greasy, they were also neither fresh or home made!
3. The bruschetta is nice but topped by excessive amounts of shaved parmesan and balsamic - again the kitchen are a bit over the top in their dressings.
4. The macaroni is pretty mediocre, almost on a par with a tinned variety - drowning in bland sauce. A bit of seasoning and cheddar would have helped.

Please note, I am a fussy eater with a range of food intolerances. This place is ok, inoffensive, nice décor, friendly staff, decent service and not pricey however given the range of similar places in the region it would be a while before I would return.

Visited the restaurant last Friday after a recommendation from a friend there were four ladies in our group all with different tastes in food but I can honestly say that the menu caters for all and it was difficult making a choice but when the food arrived it was very fresh and tasty ! I have got to make a mention of the waiting staff all were very helpfully and friendly special mention fro Ross who really looked after us making sure we had enough wine and drinks etc , I can't wait for my next visit this place is a little gem .
My only one negative point was that we all found it very hot and would have like to stay a bit longer but wanted outside for a cool down so if they invested in some air con , we would have spent more money at the bar !

Love this place, its right round the corner from the office. Great parking, place is spotless, very professional staff. Good front of house care, so obviously well trained. Food is amazing maybe a pound or two more expensive than the rest of Stirling but its chic without being snotty. Well worth a visit if you have not been before

We celebrated a dinner for 24 for our silver wedding anniversary at the Inn. We had most of the downstairs, (due to poor mobility of a couple of folks who weren't too hot on stairs). The staff took great interest in ensuring all our requirements were met for the planning the meal - menu, , seating arrangements, flowers, storing the cake - you name it they were there. We had plenty access for laying table eccessaories, flowers etc etc that afternoon
The In was extyremely busy on the 31st May & yet the staff were just brilliant.
a couple of guests got lost (Inn could do with a ckearer sign on the main road, please) .. . so we ran late - no problem.
The food was amazing, as usual & several of us struggled as there was so much. We had the best time ever & many guests commented on what a lovely experience they had, from food, ambience etc Cannot thank all the guys especially Ross & Pete enough.

We were up at Stirling for a cycling event and were recommended the Inn at Torbex for dinner. An unassuming place in the middle of a housing development would have missed it if hadn't known.
Lovely relaxing place with lovely calming decor. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu had a good selection with an additional daily specials menu, The Torbex pie was fab followed by ginger pudding and when I asked for custard instead of ice cream was not a problem. Fantastic place will definitely be back if up in Stirling again.
