“Rob Roy's Grave”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 May 2014

Balquhidder is a small village with one church. In the cemetery of the church hosts Rob Roy's grave. The grave isn't so incredible, but it's is part of history .. Enter the ancient church, walk around ...Breathtaking place

“Rob Roy's grave”

We detoured specifically to visit is site. Not disappointed at all. The setting, the cemetary itself, the church and headstones all tell their own story. Pleased we made the effort.

“Atmospheric”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2014

Way off the beaten track. You expect rob Roy to walk around the corner at any time. Set in wonderful scenery. The grave is not much to see but you are brought back to the wild times by the surroundings. Worth the trip.

“Amazing setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2014

If you history and amazing scenery then visit this grave. There is Balquhidder church and the ruin of the old church to see. Kirkton burn is nearby and is a nice wee walk.

“A beautiful place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2014

The grave itself isn't that exciting, however the setting is stunning. Well worth going down to the little bridge at the head of Loch Voil as it's beautiful, you can then bear left continue along that road for a few miles and rejoin the A84 at Strathyre but it is very narrow indeed!
