Stayed here for one night when attending a wedding near by. The hotel is new and is therefore bang up to date. The decor, beds, bathrooms were what you would expect from a budget hotel chain that I now consider to be the best of the bunch. The Beefeater restaurant next door is also pleasant and we had an excellent breakfast in there the following day.
The City centre is only a short walk away and there is a cinema across the road and a couple of other restaurants.
Overall very impressed with the staff and their efficiency. Tons of free car parking at the rear of the hotel as well
Will definitely be staying again

Booked here for an overnight while at a friend's wedding.
As always a great service, comfortable room and a nice restaurant and bar.
Good location but be aware; if not driving the link bridge from the bus and train stations has no working lifts, if you have heavy luggage.
Not the hotel's fault of course.

Of all the hotels we stayed in around Scotland, our room at the Premier Inn was the cleanest and most handicapped accessible. The bathroom was HUGE with a wet room and adjustable shower head, along with a lowered sink and mirror for wheelchair users. As this hotel is part of a chain, I imagine any Premier Inn you book would have the same features, and certainly alleviates some worries when traveling and needing handicapped facilities. The room was spacious and felt very clean and simplistic - no frills here. We left early in the morning, so I honestly don't know whether there was a breakfast, but there is a large car park for your car and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. A plus - great view of the Stirling Castle from the front door!

We booked one night in a family room and found the room and on site facilities were very good. On site parking with adjacent restaurant was ideal and would recommend opting for breakfast as the choices on offer cater for all individual needs and the staff were great.
a good choice at a good price.

Room Tip: request a ground floor if you have a family

Stayed at this hotel as it was on offer and was near a cinema and restaurants for a tour of Scotland with our children. This hotel has to be one of the best I have stayed in, brand new and very clean and extremely comfortable. The staff at check in and breakfast were brilliant, will be back.

On looking for somewhere to stay in Stirling with accessible rooms, we opted for the City Centre Premier Inn.

My Sat nav had a wee bit bother finding it for some reason but when there found adequate disable bays, with good drop down kerbs.

Check in was smooth and we found our accessible room on the ground floor.

The room was spacious for either the wheelchair or mobility scooter. There was tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, a desk to work at, a fair sized TV mounted on the wall and a comfortable chair to use.

The bathroom was very well laid out, with a raised loo and handrails either side.

The shower was also very disabled friendly, having a number of handrails as well as a seat. The curtains were easy to open/close and gave one lots of space whilst using the shower, which was also very good pressure and temperature wise. There was a sliding door rather than a conventional one, which helped with access, though I personally found it a bit stiff to open. I meant to mention this to reception but forgot.

Handrails were also found at the basin. A perching stool would have been useful, but I could easily use my wheelchair.

My daughter had a spacious double room on the first floor and found it ideal.

The hotel is in a good location with the city centre just a 10 minute walk and there is a cinema just across from it

Having stayed in a number of Premier Inns, this was the most expensive one I have stayed in at an average of £94 per night per room. Perhaps this was a reflection of the time of year we were staying. On top of this, we opted for the meal deal at £23.99 per person per night. I shall review ‘The Beefeater’ separately to this but can say that it was excellent, both in value and food.

I am sure it is Premier Inn’s ‘global policy’ but you only get 30 minutes free Wi-Fi before having to pay £3 for 24 hours. Setting up to use this was a bit of a hassle. I did it for one day but my daughter didn’t bother.

Wouldn’t it be nice for this fee to be absorbed in the room price?

As with other Premier I have stayed in, one doesn’t see much of the staff. However, I have to say that the reception staff I met were very helpful and friendly as were those who looked after the room. The door through to the bedrooms was operated by a keycard but most of the time I was going through with my buggy, the person on reception opened and held the door open for me. Much apprteciated.

Once nice touch was that a baby rabbit visited the garden area at the front of the hotel and the staff fed it. A really nice thing to see.

I would certainly recommend the City Centre Premier Inn to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Stirling.

stopover on way to north of scotland, excellent new hotel, well run and friendly staff.
resturant facilities adjacent to hotel are available, adequate parking facilities at rear of hotel.
the hotel was very clean, excellent beds, so very good choice for stopover.
City centre within walking distance for exploring if you wish to see the historic sights of the city, the hotel not that easy to find as oppersite side of river from city centre but directions on web site acceptable for finding the hotel from main A9 trunk road.

Room Tip: rooms overlooking the car park are better for light sleepers
