“A business visit”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Couldn't really fault the room, Check in was rather slow but there was a group of four lads in front causing the delay. Good car parking and handy for the city centre. As I booked late the price had gone up to just under £90 for room only, a bit pricey in my view for a "budget" hotel. I paid for breakfast, sorry I did as I would have been better walking into town. Breakfast was next door. When told it was freshly cooked I was surprised it took less than 10 minutes to arrive at my table. I was also disappointed that the eggs had not been cooked properly and the (small) sausages whilst golden brown on the outside were barely cooked. Very disappointing and not worth the price. The only redeeming factor was full fat milk being available as well as skimmed milk. If I ever stay again I'll definitely eat somewhere else.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at our hotel. We are please that on the whole you found your stay enjoyable. We find any feedback extremely valuable so we appreciate all the comments you make. Our pricing structure is very much like that of many airlines where demand can cause prices to fluctuate. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise that you found the breakfast to be disappointing. We will again use this feedback to improve our service in the future. Thank you once again and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

I checked in with my family at around 11pm. The staff was there and very warm welcoming and attentive. They cehcked us in and helped us with all decision making for breakfast and dinner. The family room was just too good and comfy with plenty of space. The parking was adequate. The food was good value for money.

The wonderful bed, the silence, and maybe the staff explanation of good night policy make you feel like you entered in Morfeo's halls. The room was clean and very good looking, had a couch, a big TV and walls ports for the tv.

Nice hotel pretty much up to the normal high standards I have experienced at Premier Inn. Good location and excellent car parking facilities and only 20 minutes walk to the Castle. A bit pricey, over £100 and beds not up to the usual comfort expected from Premier Inn.

Good quality hotel. A little over prices for where it is and being a budget hotel. Breakfast is expensive. Wifi very slow. But overall comfort is good.
The room was very clean and bed was very comfy.
TV was very good and staff very friendly

Stayed here for one night when attending a wedding near by. The hotel is new and is therefore bang up to date. The decor, beds, bathrooms were what you would expect from a budget hotel chain that I now consider to be the best of the bunch. The Beefeater restaurant next door is also pleasant and we had an excellent breakfast in there the following day.
The City centre is only a short walk away and there is a cinema across the road and a couple of other restaurants.
Overall very impressed with the staff and their efficiency. Tons of free car parking at the rear of the hotel as well
Will definitely be staying again

Booked here for an overnight while at a friend's wedding.
As always a great service, comfortable room and a nice restaurant and bar.
Good location but be aware; if not driving the link bridge from the bus and train stations has no working lifts, if you have heavy luggage.
Not the hotel's fault of course.
