This is a great location for a weekend conference. Rooms were good although a little small and the shower had a bit of a mind of its own. Food was okay without being great. There are really nice places to walk to near the centre if a short respite is required and it is very easy to find if you don't know the area (just follow signs for the university). The conference facilities are very good with a very good range of large and small conference rooms.

Pretty and convenient setting on campus. Was not expecting a 4-star hotel, just a clean functional place to sleep. Rooms were old, tired, dirty - needs renovation. Barely upscale from a dorm room. Stayed during July heat-wave and the room was >90F all night. Windows did not open more that a crack, so room stayed unbearable all night even though outside was pleasantly cool. Cancelled rest of stay and went to Holiday Inn.

We arrived at 21:50 to the hotel. We thought we were not gonna get any food as the food service ends at 22:00. The waitress was absolutely great and had no problem with us having some bar food. The Fish&Chips was georgeous, the first and far the best we had in Scotland! All the staff is very helpful.
The rooms are comfortable, warm, equipped with TV and WiFi available free when you register for free which takes just 2 minutes.
The breakfast is self-service and of a good quality and selection.
It's a good place to spend a night and relax in the bar which is open 24 hours a day.
The hotel is just 10 minutes from The National Wallace Monument.

Rooms are modern and clean. Set amongst plenty of greenery. The breakfasts were very good in the morning. The only complaint was that although the rooms were 'cleaned', it was clear that the cleaners did not change the sheets daily and simply redressed the bed. Bedding should be changed daily. Visited outwith university term time so no students about. Did not feel like a dormitory at all as was fearing due to some reviews, but felt like a high class hotel. Would return.

The rooms here are simple yet perfectly adequate. The standard of cleanliness is very good. The staff at reception although sometimes over stretched are attentive and courteous. Nice bar area. Drinks are a little on the expensive side for the location but quite acceptable for the convenience. Breakfast service very good.

We stayed here for 1 night in a room adapted for disabled visitors. We had no idea what to expect as my niece, who works at Stirling University, had organised the booking. Our expectation was of a dormitory-type accommodation and fairly basic so we were very pleased to find a well-run, comfortable and clean establishment. The wet room was probably one of the best we have stayed in with plenty of aids to help anyone with walking difficulties. The bedroom was modern and comfortable. And it had Moulton Brown toiletries!
Yes, it's very big and I suspect if there were a lot of courses running it could be noisy, but we stayed on a Monday night in August and had a lovely room with view over the Ochil hills. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. A very good value stay in Stirling.
