Stayed here one night for a business trip. It's basically some rooms above a restaurant, but it's all very well furnished and feels like a nice boutique hotel. All of the staff I met were very friendly and offered good customer service.
Like many people that have reviewed this recently i was warm in bed. Although I could open my windows fine, I can't fathom why such a thick duvet would be on a bed in August. It was too cold without a duvet, but boiling with it on.
The bed itself will be down to individual taste. It was so soft it was like sleeping in a hammock! Personally it was too soft. That said it was nice and big.
My only other 'gripe' was the shower. The temperature options were either 'very hot' or 'scoldingly hot'! No problems if you run a bath, but the shower facility.... Ouch!
The room is a good size, it's well furnished and it's slap bang in the high street so perfectly centrally located. Parking is close by.
