“Work Outing”

Went for food, meal was okay - food lovely but service a bit slow for a Saturday afternoon, there were 10 of us and it was booked a few weeks in advance too. get an extra member of staff and it will be perfect. Prices average.

“Breakfast really enjoyable”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Took Dad for breakfast on Father's Day and had a really good time. Plenty of choice and served by pleasant staff. Food really tasty and plentiful coffee and tea, excellent value for money.

“Very disappointed”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Went to blueberries today for Father's Day having been there a few years ago and liking it and also really liking Alfred's who I think are the same owners. Arrived and was presented with an extremely limited lunch time menu- no a la carte option available and no starters on the menu either. I had the hake and chips which was ok- the fish was nice but was a small piece and was accompanied by only a few chips which were luke warm and the tartare sauce came in sachets- my son had a pizza which again was only ok but nothing special- others had steak, spaghetti carbonara and the beef Sunday dinner. For dessert I had the cheesecake which again was a limited portion and the base was soggy and left me thinking it had just come straight out of a pack from tesco! To be fair the staff were pleasant- the mains came lightening quick but the dessert took a lot longer- perhaps there was difficulty in opening the cheesecake packet! It was a long way off my last visit and it will be a long time until I return. The whole general feeling was that it was only ok and we were all disappointed with our choice for lunch but to be fair the price did reflect the quality- I expected a lot better tho

“Dinner”
Reviewed 25 April 2014 via mobile

Booked for a party of six; friendly, welcoming staff; nothing too much trouble.
Ordered a varied selection from the menu, which has a great choice, food was served piping hot and fresh. Tasted great, complimented with a relaxing atmosphere.
Highly recommended; can't wait to go again!
Thanks to all the team for a great night out

“Great food possibly expensive???”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

Great food, very nice dining experience, good selection of meals available, good quality, some things are a bit pricey for what you get.
