“Faultless - Best B&B I've stayed at”

Recently spent our anniversary weekend at Cliff House, and what a wonderful welcome we had.

Everything you would expect from a good Bed and Breakfast were there (comfortable rooms, great nights sleep and tasty breakfasts), but what makes this place stand out are the finer details. Our welcome was more than just being shown the room, Anne and Michael greeted us with a cup of tea and (delicious) cake.
The room had excellent views, and they provided stools which allowed you to get the most of the view of the bay and harbour.
In the dining room there was a broad range of dvd's in particular you could borrow, including some recently titles. The lounge book shelf was well stocked with literature on the local area and maps for local walks. A parking ticket was supplied for the local car park (a short distance down the hill), but our car stayed put from Friday afternoon to Sunday as is plenty to explore in the immediate area. We spent our Saturday on a very satisfying walk along the coast to the National Trust property at Colby a few miles east.

Breakfast was a particular highlight, the standard of food was high and included a lot of local produce. Lunch wasn't required afterwards.

Saundersfoot had a good range of places to eat in the evening, and again our hosts were able to provide some excellent guidance.

Will be looking forward to returning here, when we will be exploring the path west to Tenby.

Room Tip: All rooms are decorated to a high standard, but the views out to sea are absolutely stunning!

Just arrived back from a weekend away at Michael and Anne's comfortable property. We travelled with four other couples. We were most welcomed on Friday and our stay was perfection itself. Every detail was catered for right from a welcome cuppa and home made piece of cake through to a sumptuous breakfast, car parking and everything at the property immaculate. The bedrooms were clean and the amenities provided were first class in every way.

We made full use of the guest lounge which was most appreciated

We thoroughly recommend Cliff House, with its stunning views and central position amongst the picturesque surrounding of Saundersfoot Village.

Here's to next time!

couldn't recommend this place more highly. Really nice warm welcome, friendly and thoughtful service at all times, from the minute we dropped the bags at the front door to the minute we left.
Pulled up on the pavement of the typically narrow one way bank that the house sits on, dropped the bags and got the parking permit for the harbour car park, just a couple of minutes walk further on. We were back from the car park in no time and the bags were already in the room. We were in one of the two top floor rooms with a great view of the sea and harbour from the sloping windows. It was very clean, fresh and bright, nicely decorated and comfortably furnished with an immaculately clean en suite shower/toilet. Good telly. Shared bathroom if you want a bath. Cosy sitting room with balcony viewing the sea and garden below. Nice breakfast room to consume a great full cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit etc using really tasty local produce. The owners, Ann and Michael, really put their heart into making their house an excellent and homely place to say, and shows.

Room Tip: every room is excellent

We stayed with Anne and Michael on our whirlwind tour of UK in September. The only disappointment was being able to stay for only one night. We were two couples travelling together and they made us feel very welcome and part of the family. Anne gave a big warm welcome with a pot of tea and the local barra brith tea cake.
They are both justifiably proud of their B& B and the village. Their breakfasts are fantastic. The views from the rooms delightful of the beach and surrounding area and the rooms oh so comfortable and well cared for.
They are both utterly charming and the best hosts and I felt like I had known them for years.
Would love to go back and stay awhile.

Room Tip: Try to get a sea view room

Such a warm welcome at Cliff house.great views and great hosts. A fantastic find that should really be a closely guarded secret. On a recent short notice trip of nostalgia back to Saundersfoot we stumbled across a very lucky and rare cancellation at Cliff house. What a fantastic find. We will be back if we can ever get into this usually fully booked up guest house that had every attention to even the smallest detail.

Anne & Michael are terrific hosts, the food is 5 star, very well prepared and always fresh.
Their local knowledge is excellent with good suggestions for days out.
Have stayed in both the Gower and Monkstone rooms, which have always been very clean and welcoming. Hopefully going back next year for a week rather than a long weekend.
Central location in the village, but they are half way up a hill which might not suit all. Views from the rooms are brilliant over the bay towards the Gower & Worms Head.

Telephoned last minute and managed to get a cancellation, what luck! Friendly welcome from Anne and Mike when we arrived. Room was clean comfortable, breakfasts are excellent. Central location in Saundersfoot with lovely sea views from most rooms. We would certainly recommend staying if you need a comfortable base in Pembrokeshire.
