“Absolutely excellent - fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2014

We just had the most fabulous short break for New Year at this wonderfully friendly and beautifully located, well run establishment. Sue and staff were attentive but not "in your face" hosts - the location is spot on with excellent sea views, seconds away from glorious village and coastal walks. We found the accommodation excellent, extremely clean and so warm at all times. Breakfast just right and tasty. The exterior areas are also spotless and plenty of parking on site (a definite perk). We can not wait to our next visit. Thank you so much for making our "New Year".

Room Tip: Our top room had excellent views and the other rooms we saw were also lovely.

A hugely disappointing experience staying here. The rooms are dated, tired and very basic. No bedside lamps, just wall lights. Bathrooms are small and the electric shower was a battle to say the least.

Internally the hotel is full of structural cracking and the decoration throughout the main hotel is poor.

Breakfast was basic and tasteless and left the majority of it once a hair was found in the food. At £75.00 it was a rip off especially as we had paid £90 the night before and had a stunning room up in Manchester.

Would avoid for the price.

stayed here for 2 nights during august bank holiday, landlady was lovely very friendly but we were very disappointed in our room, it was tired and dated really in need of a revamp, I can see by some of the reviews on here that some rooms have been revamped, sadly ours wasn't. We also found someones underwear behind the bathroom door!
the room was a very small double and we had to move furniture around to get our travel cot up for our 8month old daughter, it was a tight squeeze but we could live with that for 2 nights.

highlight of our stay was the fantastic breakfast served here.

I suppose we would go back to this b+b if we managed to get one of the more modern rooms.

Last minute bank holiday weekend so can expect to pay a little over the odds but £130 a night b&b. sorry all you Uk landladies, but its no wonder you struggle. Would love to spend more time in the uk weather permitting, but at these prices forget it. The hotel and staff are pleasant enough, the breakfast was ok, ended up with a family room in the attic large room but pokey bathroom with no water from the hot tap, shower was ok for the wife at 5'2 she was fine however my 5'10 13 stone bulk was a tight fit. Overall nothing special.

Arrived and stayed for one night as we were catching a ferry in Pembroke the next day!
Sue the owner must be an angel in disguise, so kind, helpful and chatty nothing is too much for her!
The welsh cooked breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared!
I cannot put our experience into words you must try it yourself!

This B&B is absolutely first class and very professionally managed in every way. The entire building is very well maintained, and the rooms appear to be recently renovated. We have two kids, and they loved the bunk beds in the family room we stayed in.

The check in service was friendly and efficient, the breakfast area was spotless and well appointed, and the actual breakfast itself was delicious.

I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting this part of Wales!
