This was our first time at Moreton House with our lab - Glynn. Angela and Roger are very welcoming and it is a dog (and person!!) paradise. Beautiful rooms with sea and country views all round. Very clean and spacious rooms with lots of tea/coffee/biscuits for light refreshment. Anyone who can manage the "full English" breakfast is brave - brilliantly presented and very tasty - lots of choice if not able to manage the lot. Safe for dog to run around and Sam and Zoe welcome strange dogs as though they have always known them. Lovely walk down lane to Saundersfoot and plenty of dogfriendly eating places - list of all local eateries in house. Easy to travel to all local beauty spots and plenty of great walks - Angela and Roger very knowledgeable if any questions. Altogether a great find - keep up the good work and thanks for lovely break

Yet another great time with Angela, Roger, Zoe & Sam at Moreton House. It has been 2 years since we stayed here but felt like only yesterday.

Another warm and homely welcome as normal. I would recommend this accomodation to anybody even if they have dogs or not, we have not found any other locations that meet the standards of Angela & Roger and it will take some doing to beat the lovely breakfast that is provided.

Keep up the good work and im sure we will see you again soon:)

Lorraine & Mark Evans

Room Tip: All rooms are ideal as in a quiet location

Seven of us plus two children and nine dogs stayed at Moreton House over the August Bank Holiday weekend as we were going to the Italian Spinone rehome and health charity dog party in Llandissilio. We had all stayed at Moreton House before and it is beautiful. The place is spotless, you would not know that there had been dogs in the house.

Roger and Angela are always incredibly friendly. Someone wrote in their visitors book " We came as guests and left as friends " and that sums it up perfectly. We feel as though we have known them for ages. They even put on a BBQ for us all ( including dogs ) on the Saturday evening.

The fantastic breakfasts, the amazing views looking down the valley towards the sea, the peace and quiet and the garden for the dogs to enjoy, plus the easiness of walking 15 minutes down the bridleway ( which used to be the old railway line in Saundersfoot's industrial era) to the centre of the village, why would you want to stay anywhere else?

We ate at the Royal Oak pub in Saundersfoot that is dog friendly and as it was a beautuful evening, we sat outside with our four dogs, and had a very lovely meal and then wandered around the harbour along the sea front and onto the Glen Beach that is available to dogs all year round. The main beach has a dog ban from 1st May - 30th September.

It was very busy in Saundersfoot as this was August Bank holiday and we were blessed with stunning weather. We always enjoy walking back to the B&B with the dogs and then taking in the view from the balcony. We fell in love with the blue room and it's sea view and have already booked to go back next year.

Room Tip: The blue room has an amazing sunrise and sunset that you can see from the bed! The red room is a fa...

We love staying here with our Golden Retreiver Dexter and travel right across England and Wales to get here. We have stayed 3 times now and can honestly say it gets better everytime......so relaxing
The rooms are spacious, spotless and really well decorated and equiped . Two of them have lovely views to the sea with balconies which is an added bonus.
The breakfast is great, the horses and goats and of course the resident dogs Sam and Zoe all add to the experience.
Whilst out in the country, you can easily walk into the lovely seaside village of Saundersfoot within 15 mins - the beaches are great and there are loads of places to eat.
IMPORTANT FOR DOG OWNERS Angela and Roger welcome dogs not because they will get extra bookings if they do so, but because they enjoy having them to stay and it sticks out a mile compared to other places we have stayed.

PS - I had to resubmit his review as apparently I didn't say enough of interest to others however in our opinion Moreton House doesn't need reams and reams of words it is simply AWESOME and we wouldn't stay anywhere else whilst in Pembrokshire.

Looking forward already to our next stay

Stayed 2 nights at this lovely B&B. Once again, wonderful warm welcome to my family and our 3 dogs. Breakfast was great and Angela supplied vegetarian sausages for us veggies. Very relaxing and a wonderful time was had by all. Thank you to Angela, Roger, Sam and Zoe for their hospitality :). This has been our 3rd visit here and we will be back!

Room Tip: The front rooms have better views, but the rear room is quieter and has a larger balcony area

This was our third visit and each visit has been excellent.
The setting is really nice and makes for a relaxing atmosphere.
We enjoyed leaving the car and walking into Saundersfoot (about 15 minutes walk) and either walking locally to the beach or using the local (dog friendly) transport where you can easily access places like Tenby and also many coastal path walks with really impressive views.
You don't have to be a dog owner to enjoy Moreton House- just be animal friendly.
Angela and Roger are the perfect hosts.
The Saundersfoot locals are really friendly and helpful too.
We look forward to returning.

Moreton House is very people friendly too! If you are non-dog owners like us, please don’t let it put you off as you would never know that dogs stay there too. It’s so clean and well presented, there is absolutely no trace in the house or bedrooms.

We first discovered Moreton House in 2005 and were hooked. It has now become an annual pilgrimage - in fact we have just returned from our 9th stay and are already planning for number 10. From the moment you drive through the gates, you will receive a warm welcome – first from Sam & Zoe (the resident dogs) who greet you with wagging tails – then from the owners Angela & Roger. After a cup of tea and a chat with them, you can settle down in your room which is spacious and very comfortable. All three rooms have balconies from which you can take in the lovely views of the surrounding area and also watch Angela & Roger’s horses and goats.

Saundersfoot is a very friendly resort with wonderful beaches and walks. We particularly like the one which follows the old railway route, through the tunnels, and round the coast to Wisemans Bridge and the Stepaside Heritage Site. In the evenings there are plenty of places to eat – that’s if you are still hungry after one of Angela’s delicious breakfasts! However, if you prefer to stay in, then do take advantage of the summerhouse at Moreton House. It’s well equipped with a little kitchenette where you can prepare a simple meal, or consume a fish & chip takeaway! If the weather is fine, you can also use the BBQ. Angela and Roger really have thought of everything.

Room Tip: Green room faces the countryside Blue & Yellow rooms face the sea Yellow room also has an extr...
