We stayed at Rhodewood apartment 11 for a week. The apartment is part of a development of quite a few houses/apartments about a 2 minute walk from Saundersfoot village centre. (The hills not that bad!!)
Good points- convenient location, private parking, modern, good size, comfortable, very reasonably priced. Nice bottle of wine on arrival together with a welcome note. Fully equipped kitchen (we were a family with a baby so used the kitchen alot)
Bad points- the road although not very busy at the time we were there, traffic noise is very noticeable in the apartment-especially late at night and early morning. The windows are double glazed but they dont do much to stop the noise.
Also, a bit more attention needs to be paid by the cleaner- apartment wasnt dirty as such, but the mould around the sealant on the bath and grub around the sink taps, shower screen handle etc drag the apartment down- I actually bleached the mould on the shower/bath sealant because it was putting me off having a shower. Nothing a good deep clean wouldn't sort- replacing the sealant is a 30 minute job.
Also be aware they do accept pets at this apartment which is quite noticeable when you put the hoover on so if there are any allergics staying..
I make it sound a hovel, it genuinely isnt. It's a very well appointed and located apartment which suited us fine for the week. Just a bit more attention to a few minor details i.e cleaning, and it would have been 5 stars. Thanks very much for the stay and the wine. Very nice touch.
Myself and my partner were looking to find a place to stay that would be local to Saundersfoot and Tenby and be close to places we could explore locally... We found the perfect place! Rhodewood Apartment was great! The apartment was freshly decorated and had a light and airy feel!
Our favourite part: We loved having the french doors... sitting outside with our wine in the evening made us feel like like we weren't even in the UK! The place really had everything we needed. It was so nice staying in a place that is so well looked after.
We visited the beautiful Saundersfoot and had the most awesome cupcakes from Sue's Pantry. We also had a great day in Tenby, which was only 10 minutes away!
We can't wait to come back for another stay... we'll see you again soon!

The apartment was as advertised and met all of our requirements. However the apartment is close to the road and as such was woken early in the morning even though the bedroom window kept closed.
The reason for our stay was walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Many of our planned walks were cut short because of army firing range restrictions. Most annoying day was when we went to pendine sands to find red flag restrictions after we had paid for full day parking. We had searched the website to find no mention of the restrictions on that day or any other day. A local person did inform us that there are restrictions most days Monday to Friday! Fully aware out of the control of the rental owner but frustrating all the same.
To cap it all our stay clashed with 2-3 day cycle race with many of the roads closed to traffic even the one outside our apartment for one day.
Our walking holiday was not meant to be!

Excellent apartment, everything as expected from the description and pictures.
Location is very good and the holiday was enjoyed by ourselves and our dog.
