Description: We want all our guests to be happy with their whole experience at Coast. Achieving such a simple aim isn't easy of course. But we are working hard to make it happen. Our beautiful new purpose built restaurant is right on the shoreline - just metres away from the lovely golden sands of Coppet Hall. You'll have unrivalled views of sea and sky. Using, wherever possible, locally sourced Pembrokeshire ingredients, Will Holland and his team prepare dishes with skill, experience, creativity and a good dollop of style. At Coast we pride ourselves on offering a unique combination of informal and professional service. We want you to feel welcomed and relaxed.

Very nice new restaurant. Sea food very good, overlooking bay, service good. Landscaping not quite finished so will visit again next year when in the area.

Dear Geraldine,

Thank you for taking time to post your kind comments on Trip Advisor. We are very pleased to hear you enjoyed your dining experience at Coast.

The seeding and landscaping is an ongoing project but is looking better all the time because of course these things take a little time.

Very much hope to see you soon.

Two very impressive lunches here on consecutive days. The food is very impressive as is the wine list. Some of the best oysters I have ever tried. They were huge and so fresh. Today's maître d was extremely well informed and enthusiastic, yesterday the staff were slightly less knowledgeable but nonetheless the service was still quick and friendly. The setting is stunning though we have been very lucky with the weather.
Scallops - amazing. Squid - amazing. Whitebait - the same. Crab ditto x10! Highly recommend this place. Great quality.

‘wonderful location - eating out on the terrace overlooking the sea on a warm summers evening felt very special. All the serving staff we're friendly and very attentive, even being happy to have a friendly chat creating a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is well balanced and will suit all tastes. This is not fine dining but it is a taste of higher end cooking without the formality and stuffiness - something I much prefer. All three courses looked great and, most importantly tasted great. Pricing is very reasonable - it will cost you no more to eat at Coast than at the majority of other local restaurants who, dare I say it are not at this standard’

Excellent food, great location. After 6pm you don't have to pay for parking but if we had gone there for lunch I think I would have felt a little peeved at having yo pay to park. Service was polite and friendly but they are trying to achieve a level of food which demands the next level of service. Examples I had to fill wine glasses, mains were slow and no apologies, twice told about a nut allergy but still served the starter with a hazel nut salad.

Despite these I would go again but it has to improve.

As we live in Pembrokeshire like to try new places an we were looking forward to Coast opening. We decided to give it a try at lunch time during the week as we had a friend visiting us.
We were disappointed to find that the menu was not very "lunch" friendly. By that , we wanted more than a sandwich but not a large meal.
The person on the front desk suggested "nibbles" or a starter. We did hesitate but due to the stunning views and the inconvenience of having to get back in the car and find somewhere more suitable, stayed.
We had Hummas,£4 tasteless, a soup, no bread roll£6, a starter portion of Mussels£8, most were shrivelled and over salty sauce and my husband had a Goats Cheese Tart starter£8. Drink, a bottled beer, elderflower spritz and a glass of tap water.
All 3 of us were disappointed with the food and our opinion is that it is pretentious and overpriced.
If they were to have a pasta dish or posh burger, something more casual. Like they have at The St Brides Bay Hotel which has a superb
choice and the view is just as amazing and the staff far superior
We won't be going back but I doubt that will worry the management, that is until the winter when the visitors go home.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments on Trip Advisor. We are pleased to hear you loved the location & views but concerned to hear that you did not enjoy your overall experience at Coast.

The Coast is a seaside restaurant led by a renowned Head Chef Will Holland. As such, the concept of the restaurant is smart but relaxed quality dining with fabulous sea views. Whilst it is definitely not a beachside cafe we are pleased that a Kiosk has been opened downstairs in the Coppet Hall Beach Centre, which offers visitors a wide selection of teas, coffees, sandwiches & cakes which on this occasion was more what you were looking for.

We are confident that the prices & menu reflect the quality of both local ingredients & standard of cooking. Our ‘soup’ is served with our homemade bread, so we are sincerely sorry that the staff missed that when serving you. For those guests looking for nice Burgers and Pasta dishes at lunchtime then there are already lots of places in Saundersfoot doing that for visitors including the excellent St Brides. We are of course trying to offer something a little different.

We very much hope you do try us again.

Kind regards
Pamela, Reception and Guest Relations Manager
