My wife and I have just returned from yet another annual visit to Sevenford House where Lynda and Ian are excellant host full of local information and willing rto help in aqny way. The House is spacious and most comfortable and the breakfast are varied and delightfull. The well kept extensive grounds have great views over Rosedale valley and an hour in the comfortable summer house is ideal before visiting one ogf the nearby hostelries for dinner - we shall certainly return as soon as possible.

This was our fourth visit to Sevenford House and once again we were not disappointed. The room was very tastefully decorated with a really comfy bed. The en-suite was very roomy too.The full english breakfast was also excellent.. Sevenford is set in a really lovely location and the gardens are very pleasant too. The owners are always friendly and very helpful. We would definitely go again.

We have just returned from Sevenford House after a wonderful break with Linda & Ian. Breakfasts are superb with an excellent choice of fruits, cereals and cooked foods. A short walk along the lane is a small hotel for dinner each evening - good quality food and fair pricing. The bedrooms are some of the most spacious and best appointed we have enjoyed throughout our numerous holidays. During our stay at Sevenford you are encouraged to use the facilities there; an interesting library and sitting room, and relaxing and carefully maintained grounds... For the more energetic there are many interesting local walks. The village of Rosedale Abbey provides all your needs, a 'must to see' is the glassworks where the owners are keen to share their knowledge. For those who cannot live without their daily dose of technology there is a good wi-fi service in the house.
In conclusion, this was our second visit to Sevenford House and we intend to stay there again.

On our way to Scotland we stayed one night at Sevenford House. We were met with tea in the garden - the house has a beautiful location, quiet and relaxing. Linda and Ian are very good hosts and helpful finding a place nearby to eat and helpful making some phonecalls. We hope to come back to Yorkshire Moors again and will chose Sevenford House next time too.

We had a perfect long weekend at the end of August. Ian and Linda do everything to make sure their guests enjoy their stay and feel at home. Comfortable airy rooms and a delicious breakfast each day. Plenty of guidebooks at hand, friendly advice about the local events and farming folk stories. Severnford House is a grand old vicarage sitting on the side of the moor overlooking the pretty valley. It is not remote, with a good inn nearby and others within a short drive. Lots of house martins, grouse and an owl, rabbits, sheep and horses about. Great place to go on bikes across the moors or relax in the lovely garden at Severnford House.
