This guest house is in a lovely setting with large gardens surrounding the house and lots of wildlife to see from your window.

There was a warm welcome for us and this continued throughout the weekend with good advice on places to eat, the lovely breakfast topped things off. We'll certainly be going back.

i can only repeat what most other reviews have said beautiful house , stunning surroundings and a fabulous host in Linda. The breakfast was gorge enough of everthing, and the bed was like a big fluffy cloud!!. Linda was very helpful offering to book any eating establishments.I would reccomend that if you are planning on eating out whilst there that you get the telephone numbers of linda and book a meal well in advance before you go to avoid dissapointment of not getting in that night. All in all a lovely weekend and will be definately going again.

Splendid spacious house and garden in beautiful location in Rosedale. Comfortable stylish rooms with views of countryside from all our bedroom windows. Quiet peaceful location. Excellent breakfasts. Good walks straight from the house. Plenty of things to do in the area for all interests in our family group, steam railway, churches, abbeys, sea.

We could not have chosen a better B&B.The service and hospitality were first class and Linda Sugars was very welcoming and friendly .The room was superbly decorated and comfortable and there were numerous leaflets and books available on the local amenities and walks. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be going back.

We arrived on the Friday afternoon and Linda advised on the local amenities. We were delighted with our rooms, they were thoughtfully decorated and prooved very comfortable. The area offers some fabulous walks, most of which had spectacular views, particularly the disused railway line. We did not use our car until it was time to leave on the Sunday.
We will return in August or September to see the fantastic colours of the moors in full bloom.
Fantastic weekend. Thank you Linda

My wife and I have just spent four nights at this delightful B & B.
Rosedale itself and the area of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park really are something special.
Mrs Sugars offers a typical English Victorian house set on a hillside overlooking the Dale, tastefully furnished and with comfortable mocern facillities. The breakfasts provide a good start for a days walking or touring.
We strongly recommend Sevenford House.
