We made a last-minute booking for just two days, but wish it had been longer. The location, accommodation, setting and hospitality is as good as we've experienced anywhere. Right in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, but only half an hour to the coast, which made it an ideal base for exploring the area. Linda was extremely helpful and has a great knowledge of the area. Her recommendation of The Blacksmith's Arms for an evening meal was spot on and we would happily return in the future.

My wife and I came here on the spur of the moment on a very busy weekend in the UK. Linda went out of her way to accomodate us at short notice, and the resulting 2 night break was one of the best weekends awa we have ever had. The location of Sevenford House is nothing short of sensational, and the views and landscapes were a joy to behold. The decor, attention to detail and cleanliness of this serene B&B could not be better. The service we received from Linda and family was absolutely first class, couteous and friendly. The breakfasts were suptious, and we will remember this visit for a long time. We will most definitely be back - next time for a longer period, and possibly with some friends. The coachouse is magnificent, and I can not reccomend this place higly enough.

Have just stayed at Sevenford House for the second time - and really happy we chose to go back there. Last time we weret here it was a maigcal snowfilled fairy land, this time we got to see it in all its summer finery. Staying in such a large old house meant that although baking outside - it was lovely and cool in our room and in the guest lounge. Breakfast was delicious - and the host family were really helpful and good fun - even the mad little dachshund!!. (I don't recognise the house in one of the previous reviews, about not seeing Mrs Sugars - even when she is not around everyone else seems friendly and attentive - and surely the woman is allowed a little time off?!) Ian gave us loads of good advice about where to go for walks - and helped us choose some routes that were less arduous in the hot summer weather. We love staying here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended. (And we are not easily pleased!!!!)

The huge corner room with big windows was very impressive. The breakfast was good and the location was equally good. We had a twin room - the mattress on the small bed was very hard, which was our only issue. Lovely big house and the moors are wonderful.

Stayed at Sevenford for a long weekend and had a wonderfully relaxing time. Everything was perfect...rooms(spacious and tasteful), breakfast (locally sourced delicious produce of the highest quality), views (stunning), location (secluded and peaceful but very near a number of interesting attractions) etc.
Our host Linda was extremely friendly and attentive from the minute we arrived until we left both Linda and her family made us feel most welcome.
Will certainly be returning.

We stayed at Sevenford House for three nights recently and on arrival we were greeted by a gentleman who read us a note from the non existant Linda Sugars. We were shown around the house and shown our room. The house is in a stunning location and has a large garden. I was looking forward to relaxing in the garden on one of the sun loungers but they were without cushions!! Our room was comfortable but lacked a summer duvet. The en suite bathroom was small as was the shower!! However the main thing for us was the lack of hospitality during our stay. the only person we ever saw was the young girl who served us our breakfast in the morning and on our departure we settled up with the gentleman who we met on our arrival. We felt as if we were staying in the house on our own and we were disappointed that Sevenford House lacked that special personal touch.
