Our regular New year visit to R.H.F. was as enjoyable as ever, despite showery weather .We were directed onto a new walk which had been opened through the forest; giving great views en-route.
Even in winter there is wild life to be spotted. look out for the deer

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms best in winter months.

We have just returned from a last minute "spur of the moment" New Years Eve break. We stayed at the Hindburn cottage and from the first dealing with Jan and Duncan, nothing was too much for them. The cottage was spotless and a real credit to them. We would highly recommend the Rawcliffe House Farm. Well done and we hope to see you gain in 2014.

Grabbed 3 nights stay at this tranquil haven to escape the after Christmas blues and recharge batteries to face New Year!
The accommodation is perfect and the friendly and welcoming owners have thought of every possible home comfort - above and beyond our expectations.
We were very happy with our accommodation and will definitely be revisiting. Can't recommend highly enough! Thank you both for going the extra mile to set the standard that bit higher.

Hi Louise & Jeff, thank you for finding time to write a review for us. It was lovely to meet you both, and glad that you were able to enjoy yourselves and relax here. We know that most of our guests really enjoy the peace and quiet amidst the tranquil setting at Rawcliffe House Farm. Our house is next door to the accommodation, so we are often around to see our guests and help them in any way. Once again thank you both and we hope to see you soon. Jan & Duncan.

I have been to Rawcliffe House Farm on several occassions. This visit was with my 8 year old Grandson. We had the Walcott Studio made up with a huge super King Size bed! We had busy days and looked forward to returning to our cosy room! The full size bath was very welcome! The rooms are extremely clean and the little kitchen area is perfect for simple self catering. Had we spent more time on the farm we would have taken advantage of the lovely garden and play area.
Thank you Duncan and Jan for another great stay!

My husband and I were ready for a well earned break. Thank goodness we found Rawcliffe House Farm! Within minutes of arriving, the beauty of the area with wonderful views of the countryside and the high quality of accommodation with a very comfortable bed and great modern bathroom worked it's magic and we began our relaxation in style. Close to so many places of interest, including Pickering itself, we were spoiled for choice for places to visit. We spent a wonderful afternoon strolling along the beach at Whitby and took an early morning walk, next day, through the woods close to the farm. We slept better than we ever have at home! We highly recommend a visit here to couples and families alike. Amanda and David S.

We booked in here quite last minute for a motorbiking event close by. So close in fact that the bike route actually went past the drive to the cottages!
After looking at the website and other reviews we were not disappointed at all. We had a lovely studio room with ensuite bathroom, double bed, ample room and a cute built in kitchenette. It had everything you would need for a short couple of days and woulod even be great for a weeks visit. For us, it was perfect. The kitchen had sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and cutlery/crockery for two. Everything ws very clean and well kept and incredibly comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this to people wanting to have a comfortable base for the Pickering area. Great value, great accommodation,

We booked a couple of nights in a studio at Rawcliffe House Farm in May - it was a late booking and after reading reviews on tripadvisor we weren't disappointed. The place is a short drive from Pickering and ideally situated for exploring the North Yorkshire moors and also handy for going on the beautiful steam railway.
The accommodation was excellent and the hosts Duncan and Jan were extremely welcoming and so helpful - they have even provided walks and drives with full directions in every room for guests to enjoy.
The holiday cottages are set in a lovely courtyard with a view of the surrounding countryside and are just right for sitting out on a warm evening with a glass of wine after a day out exploring the North Yorkshire moors in the sunshine
We wholeheartedly recommend a visit and will definitely be returning!

Thank you for taking time to post your kind comments. It was very nice to meet you both and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We try and give us much information about the area with the walks & drives so you can explore the wonderfull surroundings of the North Yorkhire Moors & Coast, then come back to Rawcliffe House Farm and as you say sit out in the south facing courtyard wih a drink.
We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
