Back again, since I liked it so much last time. Rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fab. Didn't get a sea view this time but that's not a big problem - if you want a sea view, sit in the lounge, or walk along the prom!! Already booked a room for my next trip to Morecambe :-)

Room Tip: Look on the facebook page - you can book from there and there are photos of each room so you can cho...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it is one of the best B&B's that I have stayed in. the owners Jean and Alex provide a very good service and nothing is a bother. Jean recommended a restaurant for tea on friday night which had a card for 25% off which was useful. They rang for taxis for us. We stayed in the single rooms which were very good value for money and very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was massive and very good quality. Home made soda bread for breakfast this morning which a service which you wouldn't get in a hotel.

Another great visit and fantastic service from Alex and Jean. The breakfast is still the best in the UK in my opinion, just excellent.
Let's hope The Broadwater gets back to no1 B&B in Morecambe where it belongs!

Absolutely excellent guest house. This was our first visit but certainly will not be our last. Found the owners to be very helpful and nothing was a problem. Food absolutely excellent, room had superb view over Morecambe Bay. Will definitely will be returning to this B&B and to this room. Breakfast the best we have had. Presentation of food excellent and service excellent. Nothing was preheated as in some B&B's we have stayed in. The Broadwater Guest House is a credit to Alex and Jean. Hope to see you soon.

Stayed at the Broadwater Guest House for one night as needed to work in Morecambe the next day.
Unfortunately we was due to arrive a lot earlier at the guest house, but after being held up at an event we couldn't arrive until around midnight. This seemed to be somewhat of an inconvenience to the owners, and we felt as though it was a little bit over-mentioned at breakfast. We did phone in advance to let them know that we would be running late.
However, the overall experience at the Broadwater Guest House was lovely. The room was clean and tidy, although probably in some need of modernisation. The bathroom however was very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and we had a very peaceful nights sleep.
I would recommend Broadwater Guest House to those wanting to spend a night in the Morecambe area.

Great stay again at Broadwater, this time took parents who thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We all agreed Jean and Alex are great hosts, warm and welcoming, rooms spotlessly clean with comfy beds. Breakfasts are a real joy, something to be savoured, all locally sourced produce, set up for the day. Useful guests lounge to provide somewhere to sit and browse through information on local attractions. Very lucky with Weather so able to hire bicycle for half a day and cycle along coast and canal to Carnforth, beautiful scenery. A perfect place to stay and appreciate Morecambe Bay, hope to return again soon!

On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room (number 7), which was very clean, very comfortable, had everything you could possibly need and more! I won't spoil the surprise that we discovered there but we were pleasantly surprised! The information pack was really lovely, having lots of local suggestions for eating out and nearby attractions but with some personal information about the hosts. We really welcomed the fridge in the room, which came in handy for medications as well as milk! The breakfast was superb, using locally sourced ingredients (with home made marmalade - really good), and cooked to perfection. Parking could be an issue but we managed to park round the corner on a couple of nights and found a space directly outside on our last night. If you are looking for guest accommodation that is really friendly, with a good central location, which is near to the Lakes, then the Broadwater comes highly recommended. It might have got three stars with the AA but we would give it five! We will definitely be back, thank you for a brilliant stay.

Room Tip: Book early to get a sea view room - well worth it.
