Lovely looking hotel from outside, the Aspect bar is really nice and modern. The rooms okay door opened outwards this tells you room is small it was nicely decorated but still looked a bit tired, very comfy bed and the views were stunning across the bay, the hotel is in a fabulous location for everything. Breakfast was really good and staff very friendly, and yes I would go again on a deal price.

Room Tip: Just any room on the front of the hotel

We paid £95 for a night in a newly refurbished (?) superior room plus breakfast. The room had a super king sized bed, which was very comfortable with an amazing sea view (we left the curtains open to appreciate it). However, the refurbishment was nothing special, and I wouldn't have known if they hadn't told me. A bit bland really. The main problem was that they had forgotten to clean the bathroom after the previous occupant had left! Also, the back of the bathroom door didn't look as though it had ever been cleaned, and the light switches and door frames were grubby. We also couldn't find the hospitality tray (kettle etc) which turned out to be in the wardrobe (?). This too was very grubby, with tea spillages on the tray, and chipped china. I rang to tell them about the bathroom, but nothing could be done at that time in the evening so we had to make do. Not very good really. However, the breakfast, the bed and the views did make it worth while.

Room Tip: The sea view rooms are worth it.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, room quiet and hearty breakfast. Good views across the bay from the bar and private parking. Only complaint is decor a but tired but would return. Ideal location. Also kick out time is 11am so there is no rush on the last day.

Stayed here for 3 nights to visit Lancaster and surrounding areas as well as Morecambe itself. Morecambe, I think its fair to say has seen better days but the hotel is situated is situated in a nice area on the edge of town. It is only minutes though from the town centre and is on the wonderful sea front affording magnificent views. Our hotel was to the rear of the hotel as we choose not to pay extra for a sea view, this may be worth paying for as the hotel is ideally situated. Our room had been decorated although the shower room had not but was clean, well equipped and spacious so no complaints really. Although the bed was a little worn in the middle as we tended to role into the centre which made it slightly uncomfortable as it was only a small double. However, we were only paying £50 a night so didn't really feel we could complain.
We didn't have breakfast, we choose instead to eat in town but we did have dinner here on 2 nights. And yes.............its to be recommended! The food was very nicely presented and plenty of it with views to die for. If you choose the olives and feta cheese starter only order for one as its a feast! There is also a fantastic restaurant about 15 mins walk away towards Bare on the sea front which is well worth a visit too.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and I really feel this hotel is trying very hard to impress and improve so hats off to them I say!
Morecambe must have been a fab place in its day and hopefully as time goes on will improve with investment as the buildings along the front are wonderful. Lets hope it gets the support it needs to put it back on the map!

Room Tip: Might be worth paying extra for a sea view.

So, the floor in the bathroom was a bit wobbly and the suite was beige, but the room was clean and comfortable and had been recently refurbished, and the views of Morecambe bay are brilliant.

The stairway is a bit "tired" in a bumpy wallpaper kind of way and the doors to the rooms don't match, but the bar and restaurant has recently been refurbished in a similar style to the room.

No in room safe or fridge, but tea and coffee making facilities were provided, with plenty of sachets of coffee, and I had pretty much the biggest bath towel I have ever had in a hotel. All in all pretty good.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front have brilliant views of the bay

Very pleased with our recent one night stay. Room 35, was lovely, recently refurbished. Breakfast was fine. Fabulous views over Morecambe Bay. Staff were very friendly. My only criticism was that clientele should not be allowed in the breakfast room in their night attire.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms have fantastic views and sunsets
