I have visited Morecambe on a number of occasions. I enjoyed my visit to the K A because of its location, good food, plenty of spaces to sit and watch the world go by, the prices were acceptable, the staff were friendly.
E. Morecambe's statue is just a short hop across the road, as is the sea. If you go in January you may even have the water lapping at your feet if in flood!
I will be visiting again, but it's definitely better in summer. Would recommend.

A group of us came for lunch on Monday the 17th February on our way to Keswick and then on the 21st February on the way back home. On both occasions the service and food was brilliant. The team, Jess, Steph, Sandra, John and Billy, led by the manager Nigel made our whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The efficiency of serving 22 meals piping hot and nicely presented to us all at the same time was commendable. We will always make a detour to come here from now on whenever we are going on our holidays. Thank you very much x PS a mention to all the customers that were there too! We are a varied and complex group of individuals and were made to feel so welcome. Oh and thank you Nigel for serving some of our members at the bar with such patience and understanding, you were simply great!

My husband and i work with adults with learning disabilities and every Monday we, along with other staff run a pool club on Monday evenings. We cannot praise the staff enough they really look after us. There must be 30 or more of us, most of us have our tea, which is always beautiful. We have held parties for various occasions on our Mondays and they have been excellent. Our main point of contacts are Nigel the Manager( lovely man) or Rosie who is an asset to both Kings Arms and us, Danielle is the lovely waitress who runs up and down the stairs with food and drinks, there are other staff but i'm not sure of names who are also very good. We cannot thank them enough, i could go on and on. Roll on Monday!!

great selection on the menu and food is served fast
I didnt care to much for the fish it was bland but you get wha, you pay for i guess - 13 quid for 2 fish and cheap meals and a couple of pints I cant complain
only complaint is the crap music that plays during the day cant stand rave when im trying to eat so wont go back but i would recommend it to you if you want a cheap cheerful meal and you dont mind what music is playing while you eat.

The King's Arms is in a good spot on the prom, almost opposite Eric's statue.
We're exiled Lancaster people, living in Hampshire, and like to visit the area for a week or so every year.
It was lunchtime on a Friday, and we were just having a wander round, and were passing the King's Arms.
Had a look at the menu outside, and decided to give the Friday fish & chips a go.
Ordered at the food counter ,and for £4.95 each we got an upgraded fish & chips, mushy peas, slice of bread & butter, and a mug of tea [or coffee].
The food didn't take long to arrive, was hot, and went down very well.
Our mugs of tea was served in an oversized coffee cup with brown sugar (lol).
Very good value, and very pleasant local staff!
