Found this on Tripadvisor. Sounded well worth a visit & lived up to our expectation &others reviews. Is a 60's themed cafe but not in a pretentious way. Infact I dont think its trying to be retro but is a reflection of the interests & history of the owners (Pete Nelson is a former guitarist in many 6'0's/70's groups).
It is bright cheerful cosy & all the memrobilia is fascinating plus there are records & DVD's (of that era) to root through & buy.
The food was inexpensive plain but tasty. I had poached eggs on toast & a mug of tea, OH had cheese on toast & a mug of coffee..both very satisfying & filling. Cost £9 exactly which anywhere else could cost the same for just one meal
The owners wife (so sorry Ive forgotten your name) & ? (didnt ask the other ladies name) were in charge today & were so friendly & wecoming. Not forgetting Dexter the terrier( there with his owner) who made us very wecome too.!
Have no hesitation in recommending anyone visiting Morecambe to pop in here (the main meals on the menu looked like hearty home cooking too). Thank you it was great.
