Found this on Tripadvisor. Sounded well worth a visit & lived up to our expectation &others reviews. Is a 60's themed cafe but not in a pretentious way. Infact I dont think its trying to be retro but is a reflection of the interests & history of the owners (Pete Nelson is a former guitarist in many 6'0's/70's groups).
It is bright cheerful cosy & all the memrobilia is fascinating plus there are records & DVD's (of that era) to root through & buy.
The food was inexpensive plain but tasty. I had poached eggs on toast & a mug of tea, OH had cheese on toast & a mug of coffee..both very satisfying & filling. Cost £9 exactly which anywhere else could cost the same for just one meal
The owners wife (so sorry Ive forgotten your name) & ? (didnt ask the other ladies name) were in charge today & were so friendly & wecoming. Not forgetting Dexter the terrier( there with his owner) who made us very wecome too.!
Have no hesitation in recommending anyone visiting Morecambe to pop in here (the main meals on the menu looked like hearty home cooking too). Thank you it was great.

Discovered this wee gem on our way back to Scotland. Right on the front and with lovely food advertised we couldn't resist. I had a bacon and spam bap with large orange juice and Hubby had a breakfast which is one of the best he's ever tasted along with a coffee. While waiting we browsed the quirky items on sale and I found an Elvis CD I didn't own for £3. Mine now .
The two ladies serving and cooking were lovely. We'll be back.

Specials not on menu sold out! Only take cash, went when it was busy staff a bit grumpy plates stacked everywhere ...food a decent price toilet spacious and spotless ....coffee a bit cheap tasting ...cooked breakfast very salty black pudding nice ...could have done with mushrooms ...spam fritters ?!? Food served before drinks had to ask for those ...a bit cramped ...eclectic...didn't seem too clean in cafe but toilet nevertheless excellent perhaps it was a bad time

Visited this cafe for lunch. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. There are second hand records and CDs too. We sat near the door and there is a lovely view over the bay. Don't forget to visit the old pier bookshop next door- a second hand book lovers delight.
