I chose this B&B in the Kent countryside for it is near many historical places we wanted to visit. Little did I realize what a wonderful place we were able to stay in. Graham and Mandy are so kind and it was a delight to stay in their cozy cottage. We were also pleased to have another wonderful couple staying there for their 50th wedding anniversary and we had many pleasant conversations over delicious Kent breakfasts and tasty homemade scones in the evening sharing our days adventures in the beautiful countryside. Graham and Mandy have had an amazing life and their children are all musically talented and 3 have careers in the entertainment business. It was so fascinating hearing their story.

I stayed at Eggpie with friends for a few days in March this year and it was a delightful experience.

Graham and Mandy are wonderful hosts. Their house is beautifully quaint in it's 15th century cottage style but comfortably updated with contemporary conveniences. It was gorgeous to take walks around the fields nearby, and the pond and garden at Eggpie are a treat on a sunny day.

There are a number of great English pubs nearby for excellent food and drinks, but Graham and Mandy put on an amazing meal at home!

Highly recommended for quiet time away.

My boyfriend found this place online and we knew there was something special about it when you are welcomed by Mandy's home baked cakes and biscuits and Graham's offer of tea.
This was a lovely homely place to stay in with a feeling of my sister's house in Wales. It was one of the best night's sleep, it was so comfortable and completely peaceful.
I would like highly recommend staying there, they were very accommodating and we would stay there again.

We highly recommend a visit to this charming 16th century home situated in the tranquil English countryside of Sevenoaks. It is only a short train trip away from London.
We were a family of 6 ,made up of 3 couples and 1 teenager so occupied all 3 delightful rooms over a 4 nights stay. One room had an ensuite whilst the other two shared a larger bathroom the shower of which was fabulous. All rooms were very comfortable and well appointed with lovely outlooks. The Helen Reddy room has stunning views of lush green pastures and the large pond.
Our hosts Amanda and Graham went out of their way to meet our every need. Each evening we were treated to tea and homemade goodies whilst warming ourselves by the log fire in the cosy lounge room. Our 5 star Kentish breakfasts were amazing.Amanda makes everything from either home grown or locally produced ingredients.Whilst enjoying this feast the back ground music was provided by The Webb Sisters ( their two talented daughters) or as Leonard Cohen refers to them
"The Sublime Webb Sisters"
If you too would like to experience something special book this B and B and enjoy being a guest of Amanda and Graham Webb.

We were looking for somewhere to stay on our wedding night but a lot of places were turning us away, not Graham & Mandy though!! They were absolutely great in accommodating us even with making arrangements for the Groom to arrive earlier to get ready there before the wedding. On his arrival he was greeted with tea and home baked goodies which set him up for the afternoon.
On our return as husband and wife a lovely wedding card was waiting outside the Helen Reddy room for us, such a lovely gesture of Graham & Mandy. On waking we were meet by the gorgeous view from the bedroom window which over looked pond.Breakfast was absolutely amazing and catered to your individual order nothing was too much.
The house is stunning and is full of character just like our hosts who were such interesting people with many stories to share.
We would highly recommend staying at Eggpie B&B and would like to say a big thank you to Graham & Mandy for the perfect stay & the perfect start to this chapter in our lifes.

What a find! Peaceful and quiet, as we like it. This "listed" very old house is so much more than a cottage, tranquilly situated down a quiet country lane surrounded by very pleasant relaxing gardens.
We chose the location for convenience to Gatwick and as a base for the variety of sightseeing within reasonable driving distances.
Hosts Graham and Mandy welcomed us with a pot of tea and Mandy's freshly baked goodies into their historic home. We had travelled all day and we were parched.
The Orr-Ewing room is beautiful and spacious; however my wife and I had chosen the smaller Helen Reddy room which suited us well with its ensuite and overlooking the pond and neighbouring pasture. We stayed four nights; would love to have stayed longer.
Our generous, sharing hosts are interesting, delightful people. They told us the history of the house, provided most helpful tips and advice; also directions for ease of touring - nothing seemed too much trouble for them to ensure we were relaxed, comfortable, and free of worries.
We needed self-discipline when it came to breakfast (Mandy cooks a full English Kent breakfast) and we chose to have limits. The food is sourced locally, and we breakfasted to the accompaniment of music played and songs sung by Graham and Mandy's daughters, the Webb Sisters (whom we also heard on stage at the Leonard Cohen concert at Brighton). We enjoyed our breakfasts very much, thank you.
Of the dinner dining choices suggested by Graham, we first went to The White Hart pub, and we returned each evening because it well suited our needs with good choices.
Interestingly, I briefly browsed through an Autobiography of our host Graham, which is published and which was in our room, and we have since been reading the extraordinary story of his life; well worth a read.
Mandy and Graham, thank you for a wonderful stay. We couldn't have chosen better, nor asked for better.

We stayed at pond cottage recently and were overwhelmed by the warm welcome that Mandy and Graham gave us, on arrival we had lovely cup of tea and homemade cakes in the cosy lounge. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very comfortable and well facilitated. We had a very good night sleep in the comfy beds, and Mandy kindly put futon beds out for the children. Mandy and Graham enjoy chatting to us and it was lovely to hear that Mandy is a Nonna ( just like my mum). Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. The children even had a game of tennis in the morning before we left. We would highly recommend staying at pond cottage it's a beautiful house, in a tranquil setting with lovely people. Hope to be back soon Neil,Michelle, George, Millie and Nonna x x
