“Table with a view”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

We booked early and were rewarded with a table in the window and great view of the estuary. Although it was a Monday evening early in the season Sea Breeze was busy - a good sign. We were not disappointed an interesting menu with many fish choices. Recommended we will return when in the area.

“Outstanding restaurant”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

I must admit that this is only a part review as I did not physically enter the restaurant myself! We went there on a glorious evening in May and sat at one of the two tables they have outside overlooking the estuary. We had our border collie with us and it was great to be able to have such a fine meal and not abandon her to a still too warm car. The whole meal was exceptional, as was the service and I can not recommend the Sea Breeze highly enough.

“Book early.”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

This was not our first visit to the Sea Breeze, and it definitely won't be our last. We'd tried and failed (always full) to eat here on our recent visits to Aberdovey, so when we knew well in advance that we would be visiting again we booked well in advance so that we wouldn't be disappointed again. Good job we did, we wouldn't have got a table at short notice as the restaurant was full, with people even sitting outside on a chilly evening. As ever, the food was superb, the service friendly but attentive, and the atmosphere and view unbeatable. I enjoyed a prosciutto salad and grilled lobster (so yummy) and my husband had (five) scallops and a very generously sized whole sole. We both ended our meal with Bara Brith bread pudding, a Welsh take on a traditional pudding. Diolch yn fawr iawn, Sea Breeze. See you again in the summer.

“Simply the best restaurant for miles around”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

My wife and I rented a property in Aberdovey at the beginning of March 2014 and ate at the Sea Breeze restaurant twice during our stay. We have eaten at the Sea Breeze several times before and always loved it.

We always order fish for our main courses because we do not know of anywhere else that can cook fresh fish as well as they do here. Every time, the fish is just superb; always cooked to absolute perfection.

When we had a conversation with the chef (Jason) about how good he cooked the fish, he told us the exact timings for different kinds of fish, down to the second, straight from his head. That is why they know what they are doing.

Our starters and desserts have also always been top drawer and they offer a really nice Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the fish.

Ian, the Manager, is the perfect host; always friendly and accommodating.

We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. And Sea Breeze also has a number of fantastic sea-facing bedrooms for Bed and Breakfast that we have stayed in before.

“Excellent as usual”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

I have lost track of the number of times we have eaten here, we even stayed one time, the food is always excellent, usually a large selection of seafood is available plus a wide variety of other, usually locally sourced, meals.

The staff treat you like friends, nothing is too much trouble, with a good level of knowledge about the menu and drinks.

Do yourself a favour, if you find yourself near here book a table, if you don't, consider making sure you do.
