The 3 of us & dog had an amazing weekend in the Lower Deck . It was ideally situated with wonderful views overlooking the sea. Everything we needed was in the apartment. It was spotlessly clean & having towels, t towels, washing & cleaning accessories meant less space taken up in the car - a bonus.
All contact with Jules was responded to quickly & I definitely want to return again but for longer.

We recently had a fabulous stay at The Lookout in the lovely seaside village of Aberdovey. The apartment was beautifully & stylishly decorated, it was a good size for a family of 5 and had a great view over the estuary and sea beyond. The apartment contains everything you need for a weekend/week away. It's location is ideal right in the heart of the village - ideal if you want to go to the beach (literally just across the road) or enjoy a walk around the lovely shops. Jules and Lisa are the perfect hosts. We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning to Aberdovey and to The Lookout. Fantastic location, fantastic apartment and fantastic price!!!!

Stayed at the lookout for 3 nights towards the end of June in the upper deck apartment. What a relaxing time we had!! Jules was very accommodating throughout the whole time from booking to when we arrived. The accommodation is great. Huge bed, great bathroom and the views are fantastic. My husband and I sat for hours in the bay window watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to return sometime soon.

Stayed for 2 nights in the lower deck. Room great for 3 of us (travelled with 4 year old who loved the big girl sofa bed just for her). Small kitchen but with fridge, microwave & oven so all we needed. View was lovely even from this floor, you just find you sit and gaze across the sea (usually with a glass of wine to hand!). Aberdovey great for pottering, we visited the Centre for Alternative Technology nearby which was very interesting. I agree that what makes this place stand out is the personal considerations of the owners. My daughter & I were catching the train home alone as hubby had left the night before. Jules spotted us on the beach the next morning, offered us longer time in our room, & virtually wrestled our bag from us to keep safe, so we didn't have to carry it around!! Thank you!! We hope to return soon.

It is impossible to find fault with The Lookout. The generous hospitality extended by Jules and Lisa, the immaculately appointed rooms, the amazing views, all add up to the perfect holiday.
Jules is prepared to go the extra yard to ensure you have the holiday you want and I can't thank him enough for the help and advice he gave us.
I would happily recommend The Lookout to anyone who wants first class accommodation.

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view, The Crows Nest is on the top floor and has the best views.

Needing a relaxing and calming environment for a weekend of work and fun we booked a room at The Lookout Apartments, and we were not disappointed. Sitting in the window sill looking out onto the gorgeous beach with the Sun streaming in was the perfect place for us to concentrate in a calming environment. The rooms were beautifully equitted for all our needs and the decor was beautiful, I especially loved the shower room, I would go back just for that. The Crows Nest apartment is absolutely fantastic and the owner went above and beyond at every turn to make our stay pleasurable. Waking up and looking out to the beautiful seaside view instantly made us feel like we were in a lovely Welsh paradise. All the mod con's are provided and I really could not ask for more from the owner. He was even able to take us round the other rooms whilst he got them ready for their next occupants. When we needed advice on a place to go for a drink and a meal and a walk, the owner was extremely useful (he worked in the shop downstairs so was always available). We are eagerly awaiting the next opportunity to be able to visit the Crow's Nest again. We will use any excuse to indulge ourselves again at The Lookout Apartments. Thanks Jules (the owner)

We have just spent three very relaxing days staying @ The Lookout in the Upper Deck.
We arrived a little early & were greeted by the friendly owner Julian Price who kindly allowed us to move in early. The flat is spacious & fitted out to a very high standard.
In the bathroom is a double size shower tray with two powerful shower heads, illuminated mirror over the sink & anti-slam toilet seat; which just indicates the standard of fittings in this flat.
The bedroom has a 19” Samsung LED TV & a super size comfortable bed (or twin if required) all the windows are double glazed with good sound proofing; so we slept well & the seagulls weren't a problem as they have been in some other seaside locations.
In the living space is Maxtek 32" LCD TV with integrated Blu-ray DVD player gives you the Full HD 1080p & there’s free & fast (8mb) Wi-Fi broadband throughout the flat.
But the most impressive feature & the reason why we chose this accommodation is the view from the Upper Deck bay window, it faces south, is spectacular (see photo) & a great place to just relax in & watch the world go by. In short – you won’t be disappointed.
PS. I know this is a glowing review which it deserves; just to state we have no connection to the owners:
