My husband and I stayed at the Lookout from 28th to 31st of May in one of our stops on our 5 week holiday in the UK. Staying at 'The Lookout' was an unreal experience. We were staying at Aberdovey as I was tracking down my ancestory roots. Julian was amazing, he could not have done enough for us. The self contained unit was very clean and modern. It stocked everything we needed and if there was anything that wasn't Julian would have done his best to source it.
It was in a great location, right opp beach with parking. Central to everything, ie Pubs, restaurants, shops, gorgeous walks. We were on the first floor and had beautiful views. There is lots to do or it's a perfect location if you wanted to just sit in the unit and chill. We seriously could not fault anything. Thanks again Jules and Lisa for an awesome experience, we hope to be back!

Room Tip: Great views any unit.

The Lookout with its contemporary vibe and stunning sea views is a perfect getaway. Jules, the owner, was so friendly and informative - we got some really great photos following his advice - he made it even more enjoyable.

There is nothing left to say that has not been said by others! My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend in the Crows Nest on the top floor. We needed a restful break away from stresses and strains which we have in our lives at the moment and that is exactly what we got. We echo everything which has been said about the facilities and location, etc but what really set this property apart for us was the care taken by Jules, the owner, to make sure we were looked after. We spent hours sitting in the window staring out at the ever changing view. Magic! We were blessed with four days of amazing, sunny weather which made our break even better. Jules booked a restaurant for us on our first evening, Seabreeze, which was excellent and he made helpful suggestions about other places to go. We walked along to the bowling green and spent a very relaxing couple of hours playing on the putting green and having a go at croquet. The beach and dunes are beautiful and clean. There is a small play park and donkey rides. We were so happy with everything we have already booked two apartments for September so we can return with our son and his wife and grandchildren. Can't wait! Thanks Jules.

Room Tip: If you can manage the stairs. Get the Crows Nest

Jules and Lisa made sure that our time in Aberdovey was a delight. Our room was clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated and the views were superb. We got great advice on good places to eat and walk, got a kite from their lovely shop and played on the beach, directly in front of the Lookout. Highly recommended.
