Nice restaurant in a great location with fantastic views over Belfast Lough.
Lots of parking close by on the street or in a large park a few hundreds metres away.
Staff welcoming and friendly.
Food is very tasty and good portions.
I had the chowder as a starter which was great and very tasty.
Prawns as a main course which was also good.
Would recommend and I will be back.

We sought out the Jamaica Inn based on recommendation and it was well worth it.
The fish dishes were all first class. I would highly recommend a visit

Just called in for lunch and was turned away! Sorry we're fully booked but there were tables free at the time.
Had to Ask if we could eat outside and said yes. But the tables and chairs were so grubby and wet we couldn't even sit there staff weren't very accommodating either. Just lost a family who like to eat out a lot and spend money! Must not need the business?

I recently ate here for dinner, I had the blue cheese burger which was delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful.

2nd time going on Sunday. 1st time had a long wait , staff very poor , steak over cooked. Called to discuss with manager after I left , who seemed quite indifferent at call . In Bangor on Sunday, decided to give it a second chance. How wrong. Had an £11 , 1/2 Chucky lunch special . I asked for salad instead of lunch extras, was told no problem, received after 40 mins, restaurant certainly not busy, my salad was tossed leaves with 3 slices of sun dried tomato, 2 sliced olives and red onion !!!! For my lunch !! Really
My husbands fish pie , was s bowl of fish chowder , with a dollop of cheese mash in the middle. If wasn’t even in a pie dish .
No one came near us , although staff was plentiful.
Went home and had to make dinner !!!
From 2 disappointed , hungry customers
